It sounds like a really fucked up situation
Early reports state that an arrestee disarmed one of the police officers in the sally port of the 25th Chicago Police Station and shot the two officers.
One of the officers is undergoing emergency surgery - the other sustain non-lethal wounds.
Someone captured shots being fired from across the street at Hanson Park.

I read three officers shot and a fourth had chest pains.
Police said the prisoner was being transported in a police van to the 25th District police station for booking at about 9:40 a.m. on July 30, the Chicago Sun Times reported.
When the van pulled up behind the police station and the officers opened the doors, the suspect opened fire them.
Why wasn't the sob frisked prior the shooting?

This tragic incident reminds me of Officers Hauser and Kilroy, who both lost their lives on Mother's Day, when one of the officers was disarmed and both were shot with the officer's weapon. Prayers for those wounded and hospitalized in today's incident.

Yep Detroit is much better than Chicago in that regard. I don't like that mayor either, but he's wonderful compared to Larry the Lunatic. Detroit is also a city noted for crooked politicians. You remember how they cheated the cops when they declared bankruptcy. Many houses torn down and still many more sitting in decay, particularly on the east side. It looks horrible and will never get better. But they didn't let them wreck their downtown and make things worse. Of course Groot is on the side of the criminals, as are the rest of the squad of idiots in power. That's the very sick state of Ill-inois. I hope that pos that scumbag felon is dead. Prayers to the coppers.
I hope everyone involved with the exception of the A-HOLE makes a speedy and full recovery. And as for Larry Leftfoot, you can rot in hell! I'm pretty sure the money Grabbers will say yes no matter what because they want those juicy retro checks, but it's not worth it if we're going to give up holidays or other perks that we've had for the last 35+ years.
