For anyone looking at the mystery man in Kenosha who fired a shot before Rittenhouse shot Rosenbaum, he's been identified on various sites. Some mainstream, some not. He's the tall skinny bearded dude, 40-ish, ~6'3", 190, heavily tattoed, wearing gray camo pants with a pistol in hand while Rosenbaum was trying to start fights at the gas station. He had his red haired companion in tow. She has also been identified in videos with the mystery man on a certain adult site. He has been shown in various analyses firing a shot in the air as Rosenbaum chases Rittenhouse, then later apparently firing in the other direction as Rittenhouse was being chased by a mob.
What hasn't been mentioned yet AFAIK is he lived in Ashland WI as did one of the shooting victims, Gaige Grosskreutz. That victim had "Northern Wisconsin Activism Action Hub" on his FB page.
Any agencies take a look at that group and keep tabs on other members past and present. Appears they have some who have relocated to Milwaukee and surrounding areas.

Once again, the Mayor has abandoned her City in time of need. Then again I can't blame her for leaving. I don't like spending time in the shit-hole she helped create either.
So a very small protest last night with only about 100 protesters. The city went all out with canceled days off and 12 hour days with nothing happening. It’s interesting because every time I made a protest downtown at the end of it they usually have a little circle where they give speeches. One of the organizers always says to the police who are surrounding the circle that they are learning from us. They are studying our responses. They are learning and using our tactics against us. They are finding our weaknesses and using it against us. We know that this is true because they are adapting with things like using the bikes like we do on Bralla‘s facemasks and medics. What’s interesting though, as I have a friend who I consider a friend even though we don’t see Ida I on pretty much anything. My friend is hard-core liberal and lives in Wicker Park and is a hipster. So we are at a mutual party for a friends birthday about two weeks to go and we were talking and he was saying that these marches are adapting to our responses. He said that Annie planned protest we have the scale down if we cancel days off and do 12 hour days. Normally nothing will happen and the organizers do not call Out any agitators or a large amount of protesters because they know the city is well prepared. What they are doing, is having the smaller pop-up protests during normal operations. They are then making sure during the smaller protest that they actually bring high numbers and agitators to lull CPD into being unprepared. Then, when we don’t Have the numbers and don’t have the preparation we normally do that’s when they caused problems and they do it on purpose. He also said that when we are on cancel days off in 12 hour days as soon as I go back to normal operations look for a protest three or four days after we go back to normal to turn into a little bit of a problem. This is exactly the scenario that played out with the Columbus statue. This is exactlyThe same scenario that occurred when we had big problems up on North Avenue also. Both of these instances were just a few days after we went back to normal operations from 12 hour days. The same thing happened when we had the looting after the 007 shooting. That was just a few days after 12 hour days ended. They are learning but our department is not realizing this.

What is everyone who got out paying? i have 5 years left and I might as well get out now because I don't think I'll make it 5 more years. I don't want to work one more month. I am pretty close to maxing out and I feel I am young enough to start another career. If I stay the next 5 years they will be like dog years and my health will decline significantly. This is a youngsters job, if even that. It was easy working these last 2.5 decades, I always enjoyed it, the people I worked with, etc. But this job is impossible without a full head of steam and I just don't have that, just the opposite. So what would I pay for health insurance? Anyone want to chime in?

Yes, all overtime. Everybody gets a contract with plenty of overtime, except police. The guy sitting in that truck for 12 hours on a Saturday has one job, to stay awake. Meanwhile police have to deal with being used as a piñata all day for 2016 money. Labor is making a killing on shit like McCormack Place while police get the high hat.

If you send your kids to a private or Catholic school and going back to some sense of normalcy, heed the new J.B. "science,data,metrics" Putzker regulations which states that if your kid has any of the following (runny nose, sore throat, sneezing, headache, diahera, trouble sleeping, fatigue, covid related dreams, sore muscles, etc.,) they are not to go to school and need to see a doctor to get re-instated to school (take a Covid test). Wow, I thought that the kid just got off a few lucky shots. Wrong-O, Daddy-O. The way he shot his way out was pretty amazing. I trained for years in CQB type combatives. We regularly trained on how to fight people off and maintain an M4. That kid had three close-in targets, two made contact with him, he maintained his weapon and applied enough rounds to disengage. He "let" two of the other attackers live. He didn't just start gunning people down.

Excellent analysis, thanks for sharing. Their description of the first shooter's behavior reminds me a lot of "Umbrella Man" one of the suspected instigators of the Floyd riot in Minneapolis. Asshole shuffles up to an angry protest, calmly breaks a couple of windows, and shuffles away as the looting commences. As you say, this thing is being steered by some hardcore agitators who don't give a damn about the politics beyond being an excuse to strike a match and watch the world burn.
