So the mayor of Portland - home to 93 straight days of riots - wrote a letter on Friday to the President after Trump offered Federal assistance:
- Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler does not want federal law enforcement to return to Portland. He sent an open letter to President Trump via email on Friday, declining the president's recurring offer to send federal aid to the city.
"Dear President Trump," he wrote in the letter. "Yet again, you said you offered to aid Portland by sending in federal law enforcement to our city. On behalf of the City of Portland: No thanks."
- About 200 protesters in Portland, Oregon, on Friday night occupied a condo complex believed to be home to Mayor Ted Wheeler.
[...] At least three people locked themselves inside the mayor's supposed condo complex, CBS Portland affiliate KOIN reported. In a statement to KOIN, Wheeler's office said "we are monitoring the situation and hope protesters remain peaceful for the safety of other residents."

I think this strife is good for us on the whole. Trump shook it up no doubt but the evil cowardly democrat was lurking just under the surface. At least his true colors are now visible. Elect some smooth talking phony democrat and we are just frogs in warm water again. I say bring it and let's get this all over with. It might take 3 generations but let's go.
