Rode past a 20 person protest about something about missing mailboxes. When is the protest about all the missing payphones? Or horse buggies? Or vacuum tube radios?
I check this site all the time so I don’t get trapped in some senseless riot. Usually you see the Chicago Teachers Union listed as participating in a lot of these protests.

There are a lot of groups formed just this year and it seems that most of them are by people who want their five minutes of fame and, of course, donations. BLM has taken in millions and I think that some of these other fringe groups are jealous. So some loser forms a group to protest and the media gives that group a platform to spout their nonsense. Maybe I should form a group and a go fund me page and see how much money I could raise for myself.The George Flloyd family got 14 million.

Vacuum tube radios? Damn dude, how old are you? I remember as a kid, the Walgreens at Fullerton and Cicero had a vacuum tube tester near the front door, you could test your tubes and buy replacements for your old televisions and radios.

TEACHERS AND TEACHER UNIONS ARE MARXIST AND THE ENEMY TO ALL FREEDOM LOVING CITIZENS OF THIS CITY!! I’ve remained silent over the years because we all have relatives or friends teachers. Life long resident and parent I have seen over the last 30 years teachers strike on a regular basis “for the children” (bullshit)! Degrade the schools, bring down standards, and discipline to where a large number of CPS graduates can’t read or count their toes. I worked in the 001st district for a couple years where CPS held regular protests. I have responded to many school jobs by teachers and principals because of “unruly children” only to have complaints alleged against me and other officers. Truth is while telling me they support me, I have been spit at, verbally excoriated, and hit with union protest signs and other objects. In my 26 years I have locked up many teachers and administrators for various felonies and misdemeanors to include drug related offenses and sex with students(rape). In one occasion a teacher was having gay sex in a bathroom next to a park district bathroom with strangers. I looked past a lot of this, understanding that everyone should not be condemned for a few, even though it’s more than a few. Now with teachers not wanting to open the schools is the straw that broke the camels back. If you follow the demands, they are calling for socialism reforms in order to open the schools, holding the education of our children as hostage. IT IS NOT “for the children!
About time for teachers to be subjected to random drug testing. residency enforcement. pay based on student performance?
What a bunch of a**holes. Last Protest is BLM on 30Dec20 and the next thing is says on 31Dec20 is that all protest posting is suspended. That’s cause they’re hoping Biden gets elected and they won’t cause civil unrest with the Dems in power. They need to be CRUSHED!
