No Good Deed

Prickwrinkle's County Board has refused to endorse two judges for retention. One for being accused of being a sexual pervert and the other for putting Crimesha on the hot seat:
  • The Cook County Democratic Party will not endorse the retention bid of the judge who appointed a special prosecutor to investigate how State’s Attorney Kim Foxx’s office handled the Jussie Smollett case. Cook County Judge Michael Toomin officially lost the backing of the party on Monday after a committee voted overwhelmingly for a motion not to endorse him, citing its investigation of his record on overseeing the juvenile justice division but not the Smollett controversy.

    [...]

Toomin, who presided over the high-profile case of the Chicago actor accused of staging a hate crime against himself last year, said he believes the fallout stems from his decision to appoint Dan Webb to look into why the state’s attorney’s office dropped all 16 felony charges against Smollett. In a news release Monday, Toomin did not mention the investigation into the juvenile division but characterized the vote on him as “retribution” for appointing the special prosecutor.
Since we always vote "NO" on judicial retention across the board, this means little to us. And Toomin was also part of Shady Ed Burke's "investment club" we wrote about here last week. And there's little doubt he's part of the old Machine crew, which is slowly being forced out by the Prickwrinkle organization, whoever is running the Hispanic coalition, numerous FBI investigations and Father Time.

Fun times.

Anyone still voting Democrat because of family tradition or some other nonsense reason is part of the problem. the Party of Jack Kennedy left you and your family behind years ago. Time to leave them. The dopey Republicans are not much better. Country is ripe for a third party centered on support of the Constitution.

Toomin is also the judge who allowed mob killer Harry Aleman to be retried for the murder of William Logan after he had been found not guilty of the murder during a bench trial in front of judge Frank Wilson. After it came to lite that Wilson had been bribed by the mob to acquit Aleman, Toomin ruled that Aleman could be retried since no jeopardy existed during the first trial because of the bribe, hence the retrial was not double jeopardy. Aleman was subsequently convicted and sentenced to 300 years. He later died in prison. This case was affirmed by the federal courts, and is still the only case in U S history where a person was retried and convicted of an offense after having been acquitted of the same offense in an earlier trial. Toomin is an astute jurist who belongs on the bench. He’s fair and treats the police with respect, he’s one of the few good ones left.

Just wondering: Is Judge Cynthia "Way over the rim" Brim still collecting a county paycheck thanks to the Americans with Disabilities Act? Remember, she certified "crazy".

Two things you can take away from this:

1. Democrats eating their own if you don’t adhere to the new socialist platform.

2. Black Lives Matter more than white lives matter. Bizarro Smollett matters more than white judge.

Yes, between now and November is a good time to remind people to vote "NO" across the ENTIRE judicial retention ballot.

To be fair with the amount of crime in shitcago, is there really a sitting judge who should be endorsed??? For that matter looking at the track record of the politicians calling the shots and responsible for the plan that created the HIGH LEVEL OF CRIME, is there any politician who should be endorsing anyone, Better yet is there a politician that should be re-elected!!!

For me it’s enough to retain Toomin just because Peckerwinkle wants him out.
It’s always good to keep a thorn in the side of these of the likes of these hacks.

Don't you understand that for every judge that is voted out, PRECKWINKLE controls who the replacement is! Your "cancel culture" mentality to just vote no across the board rather than educating yourself about the candidates only helps Preckwinkle.

They also said part of their reason was Toomin, while highly intellectual and qualified failed to admit his many privileges, including being white. So there you have it. If you don’t fall in line with the hard left you’re in the book!

Fundamental Change and Transformation.
The ultimate goal is to replace all judges, especially old white, powdered wig mens. That’s also Sour Prickwrinkle’s goal for CookCo Bd of Commissioners. It doesn’t stop there either, CookCo health board too had some ouster’s and the sheriff is next. Yo’times up.

I too would rather support Toomin over any genuine Prickwrinkle slated radical.

Judge Toomin is a right-thinking, down-the-middle-fair to all former marine who is both very book smart and blessed with common sense.
