- The two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies shot Saturday night are out of surgery and are expected to survive.
The Los Angeles Times reports that both deputies are “recovering,” following surgery after the ambush attack.
L.A. County Sheriff Alex Villanueva described the wounded deputies as a “31-year-old mother of a 6-year-old boy and… a 24-year-old man.” He said the fact that both are expected to survive is a “double miracle.”
This was a straight up assassination attempt and it's a miracle both deputies survived.

My prayers for the officers and their families.
Sports died in my household this season. I was raised not knowing that racism existed. Everyone was treated the same by my parents and the adults around me. Now, I'm having 'black lives matter' shoved in my face at every turn, with pro athletes demanding atonement for wrongs that I haven't committed and revering criminals, felons, who ran afoul of the law yet again.
Not one ticket, not one jersey, not one ball cap, not one minute of televised sports. They've shown who and what they value: criminals, lawlessness, anarchy, destruction.
When revenue dries up, their fame and their inability to do ANYTHING except chase a ball (or a puck) will send them right back to anonymity and no one will care what they have to say about anything.
I always hated to park where people could walk up to me. If I had to park for a specific reason, I had my pistol in my hand, on my lap, with my hat over it so I at least had a fighting chance..

This reminds me of the ambush of NYPD POs Rafel Ramos & Wenjian in Brooklyn in 2014. I can’t believe it’s going on six years since it happened. After shooting the officers he shot himself in the subway. What was notable was when Mayor Bill deBlasio arrived at the hospital where the officers were taken the police turned their backs to him. They did the same to him at the funeral. So six years ago, and has deBlasio done anything to help the police in that time? No, he has made it even harder on them and defunded the NYPD by one billion dollars and has aligned himself with the BLM ANTIFA movement. Think about all the LEOs who have been shot since. There needs to be a nationwide movement by police to counteract the corrupt and socialist politicians. The police unions need to start talking with each other. They also need to bring back capital punishment for states that did away with it. I guess all we can do now is pray and in the meantime don’t linger anywhere, find a hole. Stay safe.

I have not watched 1 NFL game since they started kneeling. I will not be in an establishment that has one on a big screen TV either. Now NBA. Fine with me. It’s starting to happen Carrie Underwood on her Instagram page stated she could hardly wait for Sunday Night Football. The backlash started with most of the post, a large majority saying they were no longer watching or supporting NFL football.
