Well, one has to understand that the national media lives in NYC and Chiraqistan is far enough into flyover country to qualify as an "over there" situation. You must have missed it. Saw it on the evening local news. Brownie Fife announced the reduction in crime and ignored the obvious. He actually looked sheepish while saying it aloud. He read what he was told to announce. It fit the classic definition of spin. It was so sad, it was almost laughable, too.
