• Republican President Donald Trump and his rhetoric bear a “measure of responsibility” for a stunning plot the FBI alleges was aimed at kidnapping Michigan Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said Thursday.

  “This is a lesson for all of us, words matter, and when you’re in public life, you have to choose your words carefully,” she said.
  

This from a clown who denigrates cops (and other employees) on a near daily basis? Do we really need to run through the list of her transgressions again?

• She also said Trump has “emboldened and empowered an element in our country that we know exists, sometimes we don’t want to talk about it, but it’s absolutely there and there’s a lot of racist, misogynist, xenophobic, violent people that are out there who threaten me and my family and other elected officials because the president gives them license.”
  

::cough cough:: Portland. #blm. "mostly peaceful protests." These words had no meaning and didn't encourage some $20 billion (and counting) in property damage?

And does anyone really believe that a bunch of goofs were going to attempt to do anything but talk shit about "kidnapping" a governor, holding and "trying" her for crimes?

You know what this reminds us of?

• Although the plot sounded like the fantasy of a Hollywood scriptwriter, law enforcement authorities insist the threat was real. While he was finishing up a prison stint, Angelo Roberts, an ambitious leader of the Four Corner Hustlers street gang, put out word he wanted to acquire a powerful array of weapons, including an anti-tank rocket and machine guns equipped with silencers.

  His purpose was twofold, according to Rich Marianos, a special agent for the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. He wanted to take control of the gang, and he wanted to "go to war" against the Chicago Police Department. He needed the rocket to blow up the police station at 3151 W. Harrison St., he told a gunrunner who had supplied the gang with less lethal weapons previously.

  But the gunrunner, as it turned out, had a sideline as a government informant; and Roberts and four others were subsequently indicted in 1994 on federal drug and weapons charges.
  

We talked to a lot of old timers about this "plot." The fact is that Roberts and his four cohorts were the only people in this "plot" who weren't working for the feds. The feds needed a splashy headline and while it wasn't exactly entrapment, it was certainly in the same neighborhood.

In the Michigan situation, the FBI needs a splashy headline because one of their leaders is about to be indicted for helping manufacture the "Collusion" narrative at the behest of the Hildebeast and Sparklefarts, so they get a couple of good-ol-boys (who have been infiltrated for ten-or-twenty years now) to make some outlandish threats on tape and ::ta-da!!!:: instant indictment for a "plot" that was never going to get off the ground.

We have a "source" who told us that the original target was Governor Fatass himself, but the number of people needed to carry his unconscious body to the waiting semi-tractor stretched the manpower limits of the "militia" and they would have been busted at the first weigh station they ran across.

UPDATE: And once again, it's a bunch of lefty anarchists who - in their videos - call Trump a "tyrant."

The left is again projecting. What they accuse Conservatives of doing is stuff that they have done, are doing or are planning. Every. Single. Time.
