More Kids Shot
Groot is really getting into the Murderess Mayor stuff:
A 10-year-old girl was shot while she was with a group of friends Wednesday in South Chicago.
The group was in Russell Square Park about 8:15 p.m. in the 8300 block of South South Shore Drive when someone approached and opened fire, Chicago police said.
The girl was struck in the back and taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in serious condition, police said.
And that was just a run-of-the-mill shooting. How about this disaster?
A 13-year-old boy has told Chicago police that his 9-year-old brother was accidentally shot and killed by a younger sibling, 5, who found the gun in the bedroom of their North Austin home.
Officers found Ashton Lipscomb lying motionless and bleeding from the head around 1:45 p.m. in an apartment in the 1500 block of North Lorel Avenue, according to police.
The 13-year-old told them Ashton was shot in the back of the head by the 5-year-old and directed them to a second-floor bedroom where police found three guns, police said. One of them, a revolver, had a spent shell casing in the cylinder.

What's the race of these children not killed by police? Just wondering, since black lives matter and all that.
I played Little League Baseball at Russel Square Park 40 years ago. I also attended St. Michael School on 83rd and South Shore Drive.
My aunts and uncles as well as my grandparents resided on the 81st hundred blocks of Coles and Houston. Nice place back then, not paradise but still a good middle class place. Then, it happened. My grandfather mugged twice. My sister hit over her head for her purse. My cousin carjacked at gunpoint in my grandparents garage with a 38 put to his head. Certain persons blame “White flight” for all their terrible troubles. Well, all of my family died in that neighborhood. Maybe “Non white flight” did them in.

A five year old shot the 9 year old in the back of the head? It’s possible, but the more likely scenario is that, the13 year old shot the 9 year old and then blamed it on his 5 year old brother.
We're going to question a five-year-old hefting a loaded revolver and squeezing off a round, but we're just naturally suspicious.........
That was my 1st thought as well and I'm not a cop. Betting it was the 13 yo and he his pinning it on the little one.

There’s no way a 5 year old had the hand strength to double action fire that weapon. Either it was single-staged (by someone else) and then handed to him and he was able to pull the considerably lighter trigger, or the older kid is blaming him for what he did.
RIP little boy, no matter how scummy the adults around him are, no child asks to be born into these households.
Adults should be criminally charged.
Why are people on welfare allowed to be rewarded for having more bast ardent children. Cut them off after two mistakes. The third you start losing money. Problem solved real quick.

White people don't seem to be as tolerate of crime as black people. White people like order. White people like to be able to have their kids play out in yard in the evening. White people like to be able to park their car in their driveway without it being broken into. White people like to send their kids to schools where they are actually taught and receive a basic education while not having to walk to school through a security zone where lined with, according to this blog, crackhead guards. White people don't toss their McDonalds wrappers on the street, and cover their garbage cans to because white people don't like rats.
When people move into a neighborhoods who don't share these values they move out, and soon the a new ghetto is born.
It's racist for white people to not be willing to stay to provide entertainment for the their black brothers and sisters who have suffered so much.

Seems like CPS StayAtHome Skool isn’t doing much to protect these kids. Three at home playing with a loaded gun (owner unknown) and another out in a park after hours. Do they teach hazard avoidance during StayAtHome Skool?

I wonder too, as revolvers (unless competition model) have up to +9-10 lbs of trigger pull, shittier the weapon, shittier the trigger and of course less in single action mode. GSR on a kid needs the same stringent permissions as basic interviews, and all has to come from parent/guardian that are not always cooperative or conveniently available for some reason.

That would not be politically correct! After all if the 13 year old did shoot his brother in a moment of passion. The democratic party would not want him to stop the mayhem he will cause in the future.
Just look for a five year old with at the least a sprained wrist, or at most a broken one. i was a big 5 year old, but even I had trouble holding my mother’s (empty) S&W Police Special 5-shooter. (That thing was so old it was the kind that folded on a hinge to load, and hat that star-like thing to extract the empty shells.)

The NRA has videos to instruct kids what to do around firearms. "Eddie the Eagle". I had my young son watch them. He really got into it. Kids want to know what to do. The video teaches them, "Stop, don't touch, tell an adult". My kids have always been good around guns, but that video teaches them when they are really young in a way that they understand. He found a few 9mm rounds on the floor one day and ran to his Mom to report it. He was very proud that he didn't touch and he told an adult. It is a good tool for responsible gun owners.
