911, 912, 914, 923, 924, 933, 934, 935 and the wagon (971) down.
921 is pulling double duty as the wagon and the beat car.
And on the far right, 950 with three 2-man cars downtown.
Remember when the Daley's lived in 009? There's no way this ever would have happened.

If anyone dies in your family, check the website before and after, do it several times to carefully see if your loved one was "accidently" died of COVID. The initial report will not state COVID, but if you check back again, you will see the age and zip code of the deceased but no name. A lot of backlog of cases, especially on Friday and Saturdays when no one is paying attention to the news. Did it to my mom recently and she died peacefully in her sleep. Pritzker is a slippery pig and the MSM just lets him do it. Called the I-Team and had all the documentation but good ole Chuck was too busy to call me back. It didn't impact the wake or funeral but the whole idea to use her death as a stat really irks me. If I had the energy to pursue it more and write letters and all that I could probably have the "error" rectified but the emotion involved is just not worth it for myself and my family. Everyone of my siblings just say drop it but it is the damn principle of the matter. It gets me sick.

So the aide story is true. Took in an arrest and the guy practically brags about how he tested negative and got covid leave anyway for a cold. 2 weeks later his woman tests positive and now another free 10 days. First instance is rule 14 all the way.
A buddy of mine who does some post-production voice over work said he just cut some 24 second tv spots for an organization called Media Matters who support Joe Biden. He read the same spot with slight variations of the script which changed the number of Coronavirus deaths and infections. When he was done he asked the guy who was working the board why everyone was laughing in the booth when he was reading his lines. He said they were joking about the last couple of takes (i.e. 800,000 dead, 925,000 dead, 1 million and counting....
The last few takes were for laughs but what the audio engineer said when he was talking with the guy from Media Matters was something of the nature of "it's all about the numbers" and he said it with the slick backdoor smile that gave you the creeps.

Speaking of Covid.... The ISP firearms services Bureau has changed the expiration dates on most of the FOID and CCl cards, replacing the expiration dates with the word "Covid19". This means the cards remain valid through the duration of the emergency disaster order and a period of 18 months after the Governor declares the disaster to be over. File this under "Information for the Police". Card holders see this change when logging onto the dashboard at the Isp/fsb website. Also note that all cards remain valid if a renewal has been submitted before the original expiration of the card. Indeed, even if the status is "under review," the card is valid.The term"under review" means the renewal has been filed with the Isp.

Highway or golf course right there but the real disturbing trend is the bike trails. There are troops of 20 year olds of all descriptions riding gas powered bikes on the trails in broad daylight. Shootings reported on all the trails at one time or another as far south as Irving Pk, where they just become plain old shootings. All kinds of highway related robberies, burglaries and carjackings within a few blocks of the Edens and Kennedy. Plate readers on the entrance ramps might snag a dude if he borrowed his sisters car to drop the astronaut in Norwood or Edgebrook but somebody gotta do something. Oak Lawn PD Officer here, why are officers even assigned to the station? We have 1-2 desk clerks per shift, and 2 detention aids per shift. The watch commander is usually in the station and at most times one of the 3 sergeants per shift. Why waste 6 officers assigned to the station if the watch Lt is there?? If someone comes in and needs a report the clerk should handle it or call a car to come in and take it. We tell walk ins all the time that a car is on the way and to wait outside

Get a hobby and stay off the blog. Maybe your hobby could be making beat tags. Drop them off at your local police station. With the manpower shortage, you shouldn't have to make more than 6. Speaking of 6, you don't need 6 or 7 question marks. One is sufficient. If you think the thing you need to worry about when only seeing two cars is that they don't have beat tags, you've got a severe lack of intelligence. Worry that there are only two cars. Worry that no one, short or otherwise, will be coming to save you when your dumb ass inevitably needs the police. When Trump won in 2016 it was the moment the Earth Stood Still. After the shock of 2016, the Democratic Party had an all hands on deck meeting from everyone in their party that the goal was to get Trump out of office.
The ball was already rolling with the Russian collusion hoax and impeachment hearings. The FBI, CIA, and MSM did their part. Ultimately unsuccessful, it get alive the Russian interference angle and fueled hatred for Trump.
Coronavirus erased all the positives of the Trump years and it reset the clock. They signed up Fauci, Brix, and the medical/big phrama to climb on board and put the word out to the Democratic governors of the master plan. Everyone did what they needed to do and everything was shut down.
The MSM now had what it always wanted a scared nation fixed on their screens searching for answers. They also did their job well.
One of the biggest complaints from the Democratic establishment was that their voters were too lazy to vote. The way to get them to vote is to give them real simple options like mail in voting and giving everyone at least a month to vote.
The Democratic Party wanted to strip away distractions like sports and entertainment so these parties did their part and they politicized their products with the company line.
When the master plan is exposed, MSM and big tech need to do their part and discredit and censor it, which they have done well. The final month they agreed to take the big leap to full on censorship which they did some reservations.
The problem with the elites is that they completely misjudge the intelligence of the people. When you silence and censor information, it goes underground. People like being little sleuth's piecing together the puzzle and finding out who the murderer is. By being heavy handed, people resist and discover how it all works. People talk.
With all the stimulus money being thrown around, the Democratic Party wanted you to get a taste of socialism. We all enjoyed it at first but after a while it just didn't seem right. We wanted to go back to work, our kids in school, but the Democratic Machine said no. The Republicans said yes, or at least, let's try.
The Hunter Biden story is really bad for the Democrats and it is legit. They know it and you can see the Senators and Representatives really squirming when they are asked about it.
The New York Post has been around a long time. Founded by Alexander Hamilton, the paper is one of the most popular newspapers on the East Coast. The Post would never run this story without completely covering its ass with every big shot lawyer on their staff. If it were not true, they would never take the chance.

I havent seen the police or sheriff in my neighborhood in weeks. Believe or not, only the good old hoodtrash mayor said CPD stations need to be open. COVID extension of FOID, yah, that's old news. Been waiting for a renewal for seven months now. They give you an emailed 'receipt' but that is about as valid as a promise of a day off 'when things calm down'.
What is NOT said is that the ISP won't give that information, that they can accept an expired FOID as valid, in writing to Gun store owners.
So now some won't sell anymore to an expired one as it might land their license in jeopardy. Should you get your card looked up online by a dealer doing the right thing, here or anywhere else where they check for a FOID (e.g. Cabela's) it just shows 'expired', so no deal. Sorry, can't let you look at it either....

While I agree with not voting for Darbro and supporting Stephens, (Look at what his family has done for Rosemont) I dont know what your problem is with Mt Greenwood. Trust me, I have lived in Edison Park and Mt Greenwood and there are great people in both areas who support the Police. Remember, both neighborhoods are still in Chicago.

Because unlike Oak Lawn PD and other suburbs, we don’t have hiring standards here- so instead of rejecting them during the hiring process, we let the liabilities fill spots inside. (No oral board interviews for candidates so you can’t weed them out).

Oak Lawn PD it gets better than that. You ask why we have three PO’s and a Sgt assigned to the the district desk ( all useless but the way) ? Ask yourself why we have five PO’s and a sgt assigned to the caps office (all useless by the way) ? Ask yourself why we have a PO assigned as the watch secretary (useless but the way )? Ask yourself why there are over 7 officers and a sgt ( all useless by the way) assigned to the commanders office ? Ask yourself why we have two officers that ( do nothing ) and are assigned as abandoned building officers but magically never leave the station? Ask yourself why we have a business officer who also is the most useless who does nothing and is an inside officer ? Ask yourself why we need a sgt and three po’s assigned to the camera room all inside officers? All these able bodied that could work the street and those spots filled by civilians. So it’s not just three able bodied like you think. And that number is still not accurate because they hide many more house mouses on the inside so they don’t have to work the street. Then they have useless foot post positions and all of them either get reassigned to the desk or are siting in the station doing nothing . Then we have a useless tac team that spend most of the time eating and combing their hair vs working the streets . Keep in mind they have po’s assigned to this office as tac secretaries etc... all spots that could be filled by civilians with the exception of tac officers ..

Oak Lawn PD Officer here, why are officers even assigned to the station? We have 1-2 desk clerks per shift, and 2 detention aids per shift. The watch commander is usually in the station and at most times one of the 3 sergeants per shift. Why waste 6 officers assigned to the station if the watch Lt is there?? If someone comes in and needs a report the clerk should handle it or call a car to come in and take it. We tell walk ins all the time that a car is on the way and to wait outside
Because unlike Oak Lawn (depending on the watch) you constantly have people walking into the station for reports and calling one of the already short districts (6 beat cars) to come in and do a report would be counterproductive. Not to mention there's a continuing back log. I'm familiar with Oak Lawn and I'm not sure that you guys have the call volume or foot traffic in and out of the stations that we do, even in the slowest district. I agree that there's definitely some fat that needs to be trimmed but most if not all Chicago PD districts can't function like our suburban counterparts.

Umm no. Educate yourself instead of spreading your ignorant conspiracy theories. All FOIDs and CCLs will remain valid through the entire COVID-19 disaster proclamation period, and an additional 18 months after the disaster is ended, as long as you submit a renewal application. Sounds like you got yours yanked for some reason and you're upset they won't let you renew. Or you'd just rather whine than take the simple steps to educate yourself and submit your renewal application.

The reason for the delay is because the State diverted a big chunk of funding from the FOID unit of the State Police. The reduction in resources caused the delay and backlog.
The State Police have stated that expired FOID and CCW cards are not a problem.
There is at least one lawsuit regarding the FOID card fee and the delay. Depending on which way the suit goes the State may be ordered by the court to fix the problem, which will cost a lot of money that the State does not have.
The easiest solution would be to scrap the FOID program entirely. But that would set the anti-gun people's panties ablaze.
Perhaps the State is hoping to lose the suit and have State Supreme Court throw out the FOID program.
