Crimesha in Trouble?
With less than three weeks until the final votes can be cast, Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx is heading into the home stretch of her re-election bid with the potential to be outspent nearly two-to-one by Republican rival Pat O’Brien.
The Democratic incumbent reported having $202,290.45 left in her campaign coffers at the end of last month, and available filings show only $14,300 raised since then, giving her roughly $216,590.45 to spend.
O’Brien had $225,653.34 in the bank at the end of last month and has reported raising $201,673.28 since then, giving the former Cook County judge at least $427,326.62 to spend.
Crimesha self-exiled herself to the basement and it's had an impact on the polling numbers. We aren't sure it'll be enough though. Suburban turnout is going to be key and if there is enough of the city's monolithic black wards fed up with skyrocketing shooting and murder numbers.

I keep hoping that Illinois, Cook County and Chicago are not toast. I'm afraid we are, BUT! getting rid of Foxxx is the 1st step to saving our homes and lives for at least the short term. Next step is defeat this progressive income tax because as sure as I'm sitting here typing, they want to tax pensions and the public will go along with it, if the tax passes. Our pensions are far more generous than social security and the average Joe will agree to taking an ounce of flesh from us since they get so little in comparison and have contributed so much to ours in the form of taxes.

The problem in Chicago is demographics. When 35% of the electorate votes for the same party every election, like blind sheep, it takes too many of everyone else to counteract that. The only solution is to move somewhere else. Just check the demographics and voting patterns of that new place before moving there (i.e. don't move to left-wing shitholes like Seattle or Portland OR, despite their demographics).
I put an Obrien placard on the parkway in front of my house. It was up about 12 hours when I saw a 13th ward lackie driving by with new city garbage cans in the back of the pickup. He stopped and tossed the sign in the back of his truck. Everyone knows that would not have happened if this was a sign for a Democratic hack. I'm quite sure that if I called to complain, that I would be told that signs can't be placed on the public way. I first ordered and received a lawn sign for o’brien. I gave $45 to his campaign and i use “ bird-b-gone “ on the edges on my political lawn signs. Juicy was bad but he is a celebrity and whatever but the letting out of prisoners like a turn style and putting them right back into the neighborhoods that they were just arrested has to be so disheartening to all these good people just trying to get by each day. I've been all over multiple suburbs, and there isn't one foxx sign to be had....I only see O'Brien and Ives, this may be Crook County, but from what I see, the republicans are holding strong, so I hope that can give you some relief.
