Homeowner Defends Property
A homeowner shot and killed a suspected burglar Sunday in Marquette Park on the Southwest Side, according to Chicago police.
About 11:15 a.m., the man, believed to be in his 40s, was shot by the homeowner during a burglary in the 7100 block of South Mozart Street, police said.
We're telling you, there's great publicity to be had by gifting successful CCL and Home Defense efforts with a gift card or $50 worth of ammo. A guy could run for office based on this.

The MINIMUM cost of a 100 percent justified self defense shooting is having the weapon seized and held as evidence. When it is returned to you, pray that it is not pitted with rust. CPD can easily obtain another weapon while a deadly force investigation is pending, but this is NOT true for the average citizen because, first, quality weapons ( and accompanying magazines) cost money, and, second, suitable weapons have been in short supply the past few months. This is why every lawfully armed Private Citizen needs at least two (2) weapons: one to use and the other to use if the first one winds up in Evidence for several months. Indeed, having three (3) weapons makes sense because then you have a spare in case gunsmith repairs are ever needed. Recommend keeping at least one weapon off- site ( for example: safe deposit box) along with a couple of factory original magazines and 50-100 rounds.
IF, as a Private Citizen, I am compelled to use justifiable Deadly Force, ALL I ask as a Reward is a White Wine Spritzer with the Keesing Bandit.
Can you take the tax on the bullets off of your income taxes?
One less criminal to lock up and feed. Good with me, keep the bodies stacking.

Send it in by drone.
Kinda funny there are no protests when a civilian shoots a bad guy, everyone sort of figures he had it coming.Seems these cases have been picking up in the last year or so.darn near everyone I know is strapped on the street and at home.
Another Key To the City winner. Next time double tap one to heart and one to the head. No need to waste ammo with that two to heart and one to head nonsense. Two, well placed will do nicely. If your really good one between the eyes will also work well but might not be as satisfying.
My first apartment in Chicago was on that block. Things have changed.
That was years before my Bandit days.
Now, kees me you fool!!!!
It’s a great plan. You’d get every single gun owner on board. 9mm hardball is now at 62 cents a round plus shipping if you’d like it in bulk and Maxon is limiting ya to one box of off-brand 9mm per day.
A thousand rds is now costing $650 delivered and the only folks I can find who have it in stock will deliver it to my in-laws place outside Crook but not to the house (in Crook, outside Chiraqistan)
Stay smart ladies and fellas.
$50 ain't enough. Let's up the ante to 500 rounds of Federal HST or whatever defensive ammo works for the good guy.
Wolves comes knocking down your door, lightem up!!
Three weapons? I carry that, while the others are resting.
Another one bites the dust!
So far this year, CCL holders have put 50% more animals in the dirt than CPD.
Yeah, you need $50 to buy a box of 9mm if you can find any......
Can someone get the offender's address? The homeowner should be able to bill the asshole's family for the bullet.
Sure fire way to make sure that he doesn’t commit a crime ever again. He decided he was going to be a piece of shit his entire life, luckily for the rest of us, this homeowner made the decision for him that this would be his last one. Great job good citizen.
The “suspected” burglar by CookCo States Atty Office is ‘someone who was in search of warm shelter and edibles during these challenging times of a global pandemic’.
Cook Co Bd President on behalf of the Board of Elections sent a Mail-In Ballot Response Team to secure any and all ballots that may be left behind on behalf of the deceased, grieved and any and all mournful parties...for the next 8 days or more.
The only bright spot for the weekend
Another 2 for one. No more breeding and no more crime victims of the dearly departed.
Second the insightful comment by the gentlemen above regarding having a backup weapon(s) for the downtime during the "investigation".
Two quick points: Gee, I wonder if the dead burglar's death certificate will have as the cause of death, the Wuhan Red Death on it. You know every "Rona" stat counts.
Hopefully, the guy early voted before his sudden and untimely demise. If not, no worries, he lived in the city and they will make sure he voted for China Joe. Even dead he'll be making us Chicago Proud.
BTW: F.U.L.L.
OT Check out this video from a Black Portland officer talking about living through BLM in his town. He gets it and points out how RACIST White BLM protestors actually are. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjiqS8gPPB0

If you're CPD, you're SOL if you're involved in a shooting.
They will hold your weapon hostage and NO ONE we know of
that has been involved in a shooting was EVER provided a
loaner weapon of like kind, or even a loaner, period.
We've been involved in two shootings and our weapons
were held until the firearms unit felt good
and ready to return them.
One time was 3 months, the other was a little less.
We're glad we listened to an old timer who basically
said if you have one weapon you favor, get another one.
Especially if you favor .40 S&W or .45 ACP.
And with the current regime frowning
on Policemen vigorously protecting
themselves from the hyper-violent
lovers of death who make up the
regime's constituency, Policemen
had jolly well better know where
they stand in these matters.
Send the bill for the clean up to Groot, it's her fault!
Nice work by the homeowner, "He was a man that stood up". Taxi Driver.
Lots of people packing these days
Now for a song that I bet is on The Keesing Bandit's mixtape.
Sing it Freddie!

Good shooting, Mr. Homeowner!
I guess times have changed. When I was on the job and I was involved in a shooting I went to the 1st Deputy office and got a loaner revolver.
