According to sources familiar with the matter, officers were dispatched to Johnson’s home near 33rd Place and Racine Avenue around 9:30 p.m. after a “verbal altercation escalated” and Johnson allegedly shoved his wife.

Johnson is a guy who was over promoted to solve another city crisis ... and has been in crisis since Navarro retired. So what do his close friends do? Nothing. Gene Williams, Elgin Holt and many OTHERS. So why not contact EAP or do something? Because they all used him to push their agendas which were more important to them then was his mental health. True friends. Riccio also had a role in this but used his efforts to take care of his own. Remember he said this many times, we will be long gone before they find out what we did here. His wife could have done something, she did nothing. So Johnson, who is guilty of everything we all have accused him of, has fallen hard. His first wife is entitled to half his pension for the years they were married which could have been a considerable time. Speaking people who shouldn't be in 189, Sgt.Nutjob is at it again.
I believe per department policy. The victim/complainant has the right to request the officer turn his/her camera off for privacy reasons however once the officers ascertain the offender is still on scene or they believe there is something of evidentiary value pertaining to the case they reserve the right to leave/turn the BWC back on. I don’t believe there can be disciplinary action taken against the officers for not having the camera rolling. However they did fall for the banana in the tailpipe routine and let the alleged offender get some air and drive away.
He’s a degenerate just like his minions at HQ. the bosses on this job possess 0. credibility
