Eight Stripped
They are telling you - in no uncertain terms - to be fetal:
- More than 500 complaints have been filed against Chicago police officers since late May on allegations that they mistreated protesters during the demonstrations that followed the Memorial Day death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, officials said, and eight have been stripped of their police powers.
No specifics on the eight, such as assignments or allegations, but at least a few were forwarded to "federal" law enforcement.
The message couldn't be clearer.

Anybody who didn't get the go fetal message at least 6 months ago is hopeless. That said, these are protest related and probably unavoidable and probably all 100% BS. If they force you onto the front line at these things you are likely to catch a beef no matter what you do or don't do. Good luck to these 8 and anybody to follow.

I think someone should drop a dime to the media that a certain unit ... not SOS ...TRU...Or MSF... or SOG... is pushing for CB #’s again . Don’t they realize the powers that be don’t want people of color in jail .. wtf bosses worried about their next bump ..

Maybe I missed something in the article, but they didnt really make it all that clear if 8 were just stripped, or are they including cops like the one that flipped off the Communist teachers and the cop that used his dreaded knee when the savages were wrecking the Brickyard? And whatever happened to the CPD Crime of the Century where Bobby Rush's magical popcorn was eaten for a dollar? I walked by Rush's office the other day and saw a package of microwave Orville Reddenbocker on the ground. I noticed it was underneath a giant cardboard box, propped up by a stick that had a string tied around it that led back inside the office. I just kept on moving!
It's been speculated that the City didn't want to completely destroy morale in the summer when all the craziness was going on.
Now you might see cops stripped for riot shenanigans now that the dust has settled (somewhat). Fuck, they just stripped two coppers last week, that were involved in a shooting in 011 from like three years ago. Either way, yes, be as fetal as you can be out there.

This is true. Those 8 are most likely answering 311 calls. A lot of people are still being call down to COPA. The crazy part is that COPA is the complainant for most of these complaints. They are literally freezing videos and going frame by frame to get officers star numbers and then having them go down to COPA to give statements and asked if they recognized any officers from videos. Straight bullshit.
I would not doubt it if someone prints out a roster of all the images of offices who were in the general area so that assholes can hand pick offices for complaints against them

The only reason these officers were stripped is because our Mayor stated during a press conference, "These officers should be fired!" At most these officers should have been sent to the academy for some type of sensitivity training.

just before we retired in 2001 certain coppers we knew who had their fill of CR# and the same coming not sustained or unfounded went to a lawyer that they could trust and inquired what their options concerning same were against the citizens issuing same,the lawyer stated defamation, mental anguish, false accuasations and a few others ,,,said coppers put a lean on beefers house and lawyer drew up papers for a 20 thousand dollar fine for the complaint that came back as bullshit,the citizen then had to hire a lawyer and meet with the coppers lawyer and they asked if cops WAIT FOR IT ,,,,,,,, would accept a apology instead of the money, lawyer said no and walked out of office,believe the idiots wound up paying ten grand not counting what they had to pay their lawyer,,,lesson here is to go after these beefers if it comes back unfounded or not sustained the lawyers will love you and you will add a few bucks to the kick

Nice story but makes no sense. In order to get a lien you first need a judgement by the court. You just don’t make accusations and have them running to pay you 10K. Sounds like an urban legend that been passed on for years and just grows. All these bust out that beef have homes and 10K to pay and more money for their lawyer. If it worked so good why isn’t anybody doing it?
