Well I can say for a fact that I got covid from training. If you don’t want to go to training then DO NOT GO. Just show up for work in your district. Yes, they will deviate your but cite in your to from that you are not going due to fear of the major increase in covid and that you have pre existing conditions and just the over all dear that you may bring it home to your family. Fuck this training bullshit. They can do it via zoom while you’re at home

And to add on to that the training is the most useless training that serves no other purpose than to screw the officers when they get into anything at work by the brass and copa saying well officer weren’t you trained on this day and in time?! Your right. I can remember being detailed to the World Trade Demonstrations downtown. Our job was to guard a certain building. That dullard Starks made us sit in a CTA pool bus that was leaking fumes into the passenger area. The smell was nauseating. We sat there for a half a day when someone from the building noticed and said why sit on that bus, you are more than welcome to come in to the building which we did for days. No police officers should be sitting in buses during this pandemic. Stay safe.

Keep in mind that JB has about 300 Covid’s testings sites around the entire state includes clinics, drive ups, drug stores and pop-ups, not limited to doctor office visits. Something nefarious is up and it’s not the woo-hans flu.
Illinois has tested 8.5 million folks out of a populous of 12.8 million...that’s 1.1 mil tests a month since March.
Contrast that with Massachusetts - has tested 6.8 million folks with a population of 6.9 million.

So I can't go to a TLO meeting where we can spread out in the large community room, but I can go to Field Force training, in a smaller room, to stand shoulder to shoulder on line, in a wedge, or whatever. Yeah. Ok.
