The most recent changes remove the date designation requirement making it more accessible and inclusive to our city’s veterans.

"We must continue to work together to create policies that better serve all of our residents especially our brave men and women that have sacrificed so much for our city and country."

Well, when President Biden takes office it ought to be possible to staff a hospital full of top notch doctors, nurses, technicians and auxiliary service workers from Ghana, Nigeria, Burkina Faso etc; that should drive costs down (and provide better, less racist treatment into the bargain).

For four years now, the decent citizens of this country have suffered through the unhinged mental breakdown of the national political media, baying like crazed hounds chasing after the craziest conspiracy theories that foreign governments could come up with.
Some of the most deranged toilet hounds still cling to the dirtiest scraps from Moscow hotel rooms.
So please, Twitter, curb yourself. If you want to tag conspiracy theories on your stupid “platform,” start with the ones that have been peddled by the Kremlin during the entire Trump administration.

I'm retired and have a grown son addicted to pills(Xanax). He's been in & out of rehab. Continually buys from the same dealer who was arrested and due to Covid was let out and he continues to sell. I pray my son will kick this addiction. Just talked to pd where jag off dealer lives and they told me Cook County let him out. If my son ever dies from this the cook county justice system & ccsa Kim Foxx can answer to this. Keep mother fuckers that belong in jail in jail! That's your job. Hopefully the dealer will get a good case against him soon...just venting and reiterating how fucked up the system thanks for reading

I'm sorry for your situation and I agree with pretty much everything you said. However, our fucked up justice system won't be answering for anything. The idiot voters have spoken. The obvious corruption and cover-ups go unpunished. Hopefully the dealer's case is an ME case number soon. If this guy wasn't set free, your son sadly would've just found a new dealer. Do everything you can to help your son. Make him beat his addiction. Rehab and counseling is a good place to start, but he needs support once he's out on his own. Don't give him money if he's going to spend it on drugs. Stay active in the fight to keep him off the pills. Good luck.

Oh, yes. Africa is not going to have an Industrial Revolution. It will export its natural resources in exchange for manufactured goods from elsewhere, and remain a poor, overpopulated, dangerous place.
