We remember when this used to be a classy joint in a classy part of town:
- A man, 33, is recovering after he was shot inside the Swissotel early Saturday morning in the New Eastside neighborhood, according to Chicago police.
Police said it happened at around 1:43 a.m. in the 300 block of East Wacker Drive.
Two men got into an altercation while riding inside a hotel elevator, police said.
The argument escalated and both men exchanged gunfire, according to police.
But hey, don't worry. Conventioneers will be back downtown in no time at all, filling Chicago's empty coffers with all sorts of tax dollars.

I was in Vegas over Labor weekend. After midnight it's probably 90% hoodrats. They trashed the Wynn that weekend, shot someone at Aria valet, and stabbed another outside the Venetian. Extremely cheap rooms,free booze, and nowhere to play (clubs were closed) makes for a rat paradise. Of course even with cheap rooms they're packing two dozen people in a room. Actually it's good experience for the new Biden/Harris world. Ir will soon be the norm.
Back to back they faced each other,
drew their swords and shot each other.

Since I retired and moved out of the city 15 years ago, last Winter I drove someone home to that location on upper Wacker Drive. I did not even know it existed and got lost trying to find it. I was impressed when I finally arrived. Yes, that is serious money in that neighborhood.
C'mon gang, it's time to pick a new name for the city....is it gonna be Chitroit or New Detroit? All of these businesses gave money to the Socialist party to get rid of a law and order president.
