No power cars? When is tact coming back to the watch? No new hires. Can't get a day off.
Honestly I rather be 99 than work with the snowflakes coming out of the academy in the last 5 years, at least I know what to do or not to do. One A-hole I would get stuck with made me feel that if someone had the drop on me he would let the bad guy shoot me and he still wouldn't do shit because of how afraid he is on this job. Luckily I complained and no more, to my surprise I learned that no one else wanted to worked worth his ass.
It's a joke at 014. Same as 2nd watch, you have 3yr PPOs running 99 (1412,1423,1422,1411). Which is super dangerous, who's going to wake them up or nugde them with their ipod stuck in their inner ear canals in case an emergency happens.
Some POs from 014 were sent downtown, you know bc screw the citizens and Officer's safety. Lightfart can't even shop inside the city. Heard she was at a skokie sporting goods store, Chicago sporting goods stores not good enough?????
Keep Chicago tax payers money in Chicago, you know kinda like mandatory residency!!!
Hey the bad guys aren't down though. They did 4 carjackings in Bucktown and Wicker Park areas on Sat. The city is just trying to level the playing field between the police and the criminals giving them a sporting chance.

011 first watch is going from approx 120 Officers down to the mid 80's at the start of the year. How the hell is 011 going to handle the summer with those numbers? Officers are goingto get hurt! Because tact, CST, summer mobile and whatever bullshit they offer to supplement are long gone by the time they are needed! Good job Spencer!
In 11 today we would have 13 po's on sheets if not for them hiring back 4 po's on their RDO.

Im sure this officer is correct about the holidays, I'm safe now since I'm on furlough. But if they pull this stunt for Christmas I got a wild card up my sleeve that will get me three months off not a week.

side note: when we had the looting few months back, each city dumped all man power back to patrol... it was weird, no crime! Of course, next day with return back to all those fancy units... crime rose and calls for service wait times in the log lol

Retired fours years ago, moved to a republican southern state and never looked back. Fuck Chicago, fuck GROOT and for that fat ass that's ruining Illinois. Any officer who is retirement eligible get the fuck out. Believe me nobody ever says I should of stayed a few more years, they all say I should of left earlier.
Your not a PPO after 3 years. Probation ends at 18 months.

When I first came on the job, all we signed out was a radio and car keys. All reports, arrest were written on paper. I use to love the job back then, can't say this anymore. CPD sucks. Can't wait to fuck'n retire.
