I do not go back to an old post but let us put this in perspective about the old flu post. 7,779 die in US every day from all causes, if you include the COVID-19 deaths it is 9,696 a day. That is a 12.98% increase every day. I take home $2550 every two weeks in pay, then I get a 12.98% pay increase on my next paycheck. That check has an $292 increase, I would notice this every paycheck. When you relate that to COVID-19 numbers I am sorry if you have lost a family member during this time, but I have not seen 1000 people dying in my circle of friends and family the last 6 months. If you do the % we should have lost 1,947 CPD and CFD members do to no social distancing and no face masks.

I must have been asleep at the wheel for the past four years because I never realized how much some people hate this country and everything it stands for which boggles the mind. I find the story about Pfleger hard to believe, I don't know of abusers who only have a single 40 year old allegation. I hope he gets more fairness than the Chicago church leaders gave to cops last summer - specifically calling officers murderers without knowing the facts.
