26/Cal Today

If you're in the building, stop by:

  • Hey scc just to remind you that I go to court tomorrow on Whitley Temple in room 304 , at 0930 at 26 California. Anyone who can stop in it would mean the world . Since this ordeal has begun , I personally have been to 13 status hearings and I’m getting tired . I can not even describe the feeling sitting across from her in court , free as a bird and the court treating me like an after thought . The fact that this woman who nearly killed me is being treated as a victim is a slap in the face

This is the case where the officer was run over by his own squad car when the offender stole it. The judge is connected to the defense attorney - they were co-workers in the Public Defenders Office for multiple years.

I sure hope you have a lawsuit against her already. Maybe she will be the victim of a hit and run in the near future. You know, karma and all.

What is sad, is how much can a person take?
There's a point where you say I'll go one more time and a time where you say shove it.

From the UP of Michigan, wishing you the best. It's an absolute sin what these people do to the good in our society.

Well seeing as the judge and pubic(spelled wrong on purpose) defender are cohorts, can you say kangaroo court. Good luck to you and hopefully I'm wrong but this is crooked county.

Wish the officer well, as I’m sure the judicial system isn’t in any hurry to find actual justice and hold anyone accountable.

And before I go any further, I’d like to pin the blame squarely on the POS who committed this crime.

HOWEVER, we are quick to blame victims in a case of leaving a bar late downtown, walking the mag mile while being aloof, etc.

This situation seems to be one that was also avoidable.
Not trying to Monday morning quarterback, but often times if you don’t give the predator an easy opportunity, they often don’t force the issue.
Leaving the car running while getting out is a PPO move.

As the Van Dyke case taught us, “creating your own exigency” is not a good thing.

The Crook County Justice system is alive and well. It's all on the legit - just like CPD statistics and pro wrestling. Best of luck.

Keep your head up E.P. and don’t fret. Remember, there is an Eternal Judge. She, the judge, and the defense attorney may get away with it in this life, but eternity is a long time.
