The updated COVID-19 vaccine will be available in Chicago by next week, according to the Chicago Department of Public Health.
Doses of the vaccine were expected to begin shipping this week and be available within five to 12 days at clinics and pharmacies throughout Chicago, according to the health department.
At Walgreens, appointments can be scheduled immediately and will begin nationwide starting Sept. 18, according to a spokesperson with the drugstore chain.
We're going to go out on a limb here and predict the media will be whining about non-compliance numbers that rival the numbers of people not taking the so-called "boosters" after the first jabs were failing to stop anything.

I do not trust the judgement of anyone who has gotten inoculated in 2022 or 2023.
Ditto mask usage. Anyone who wears a mask on purpose when alone in a car is obviously mentally unbalanced.

I had a checkup this week with my primary care doc. She offered both the COVID booster and the annual flu shot, but unlike previous years, she did not give me a hard sell on it. When I said “No,” she just accepted that and moved on. In previous years this doc (and others) would really push for the vaccines. She did comment that a lot of her patients were opting out.
Didn’t comply first time, so again it is no.
Health/safety has become an idol to many...

When will the class action lawsuits against Lightfoot, the brass and the city start for all the people that were forced to choose between keeping their jobs or getting the ineffective vaccine? This was a painful experience for so many. Not easy to give up a career and being the sole provider for a family. Many that were healthy and already had Covid several times which made no sense to be force vaccinated. Lightfoot and the brass were on TV threatening cops. This was pure insanity! I also believe disclosing medical information in the BS portal was also a violation of privacy. Never ever forget what they did! Hey JCat, what are you doing about this???
Funny how we don’t hear them lying anymore trying to trick everyone like before with their outrageous BS about “you can’t get it and you can’t spread it” Then when the world discovered that wasn’t true they switched to more BS with the, “it lessens the symptoms.” The fraud, lies, deception, violation of our constitution and violation of basic human rights involving everything Covid will go down in history as the biggest scandal in the world. However, if the real corruption involving the Biden family and others comes out, that will be a very close tie. Especially if it gets proven the election was rigged. Maybe I just never paid attention in the past or maybe the numbers always have been the same but I have noticed an uptick in cancer amongst the rank and file. Some young and some older who cancer could be hitting at that age anyway. I’m reading that the vaccine is a slow-kill bioweapon. It eliminates your immune system and makes you more susceptible to cancer, heart attacks, auto immune disease, strokes, etc. Bill Gates has gone on record saying there are too many people on earth and is behind these shots. Anyone or any copper (who is a trained BS detector) should know better than to take those shots.

Wearing a mask alone in your car makes perfect sense if you have hearing aids and you have to make multiple stops at places where they require masks to enter the premises.
Take it from me, you don't ever want to drop a $1200 hearing aid in a snowy parking lot, and even if you take the mask off in the car it's a sure bet one drops down between the driver's seat and the center console.
Besides, as a dedicated follower of SSC, I really don't give a fuck about what other people think about me when I drive - in fact, if it makes you stay further away from me, so much the better.
In the words of Nancy Reagan, “ just say no.”
Had more of us done that the first time around things would be much different today.
By the way, for cops, that goes for overtime, too.

It’s not that the government at every level lied to is. The problem is the anti trump righteous ones believed all the lies and turned on the non believers to the point they were calling for internment, stripping of rights, and wishing us dead. I remember all the celebrities who spouted their Nazi like lust for obedience. I Will Never watch another movie or show or listen to another production they are part of. Starve them of attention and your hard earned money. How millions spend their money is a very powerful tool. We need a cell phone silence day where everyone puts their phone on airplane mode for an hour. Not sure what effect it would have but I think all the cell carriers, apps and phone companies would take notice. We need to remind them who is boss and who they are working for.
My mom was getting chemo during the pandemic, if she caught covid she'd be dead. So we all got the shots, boosters, whatever so we could at least try and keep her around... Sadly, she passed on this past November.
During the pandemic I got 5 shots in total. Still caught COVID 3x - 1st time was rough as hell, coughed for 20 days, lots of "long covid" symptoms for months afterward.
2nd and 3rd times - runny nose on the 3rd day, but nothing else other than feeling a little shitty for about 5 days before...
The problem I had with the shots:
* Heart pain - call it whatever, but it was there. Persistent, for about a week...
* Fucking weird dreams with shot #2...
* Brain fog.
Not sure what's related to the shot, or to the wuhan flu - but there's enough questions about the efficacy and safety of these things, plus what I lived through - that I'm not getting that thing. I figure I've had COVID 3x, each time has been milder and was after the vaccine "protection" had waned.
Forget this COVID bullshit... Vote out all the schmucks that keep pushing it, and prosecute all the fools who funded the creation of it in the first place *cough*fauchi*cough*

Do you actually not understand how nonsensical and ridiculous masking is for people driving in their car, walking outside, or walking 10 feet to a table in a restaurant then sitting and taking the mask off? Everyone knows you can't get covid sitting down, right?
