Threats Update
So it's been......around fifteen-and-one-half hours since we demanded an apology from an ignorant troll.
We didn't get a phone call at work asking for us by name. We have received nothing in the comments or e-mail, which truth be told, is what we expected. As a commentator said, "Threats based upon disclosure of public records are ridiculous."
So it looks like we're going to have to "take steps" as we said.
As of this moment, we've done exactly nothing. But we discovered this:
- We did a Google search of the name "Jennifer Koniarski." Over 927,000 results and guess what the #4 result was? "Threats Against the Blog"
- Amused, we did a Bing Search of the name "Jennifer Koniarski." There were 3.8 million results, and coming in at #1.... "Threats Against the Blog."
- Rounding it out, we did a DuckDuckGo search of the name "Jennifer Koniarski." No search totals, but coming in at #1...."Threats Against the Blog."
All that from a single mention of "Jennifer Koniarski." Those "web crawler" robots have gotten much more efficient over the years. It used to take a week or so for things to even register on Google.
We have now mentioned "Jennifer Koniarski" five times in this post, and failing to get our apology in the next eight-and-one-half hours, we'll be mentioning and linking the PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE Court finding in numerous other posts because the public deserves to be fully informed.
UPDATE: Google #1 search, all without lifting a finger.

Just read the opinion. Absolute complete scammer. Can walk through a parking lot carrying a microwave but can’t type on a computer light duty. People have been shot on this job and permanently disfigured and injured for life and come back to work in one form or another because they have pride and dedication. In my opinion, this scammer, among many other disability scammers are nothing more than scum around the ring of the toilet. Disgusting.

I’m confused.
Unless I completely misread the doc, the courts found in her favor.
Had the decision gone the other way, i.e., the courts felt that she was a lying POS scamming the system, I could understand her being cranky. No one likes their dirty laundry publicized, even when it’s legit.
But this was a win.
Who protests a win?
Can you imagine if this creature would of graduated and later in her career would of made exempt? I forget, we have plenty of these do nothing creatures that are currently exempts.
Collecting a free check from 2003 till 2021(basically). That’s called winning! Johnson has her beat, he’s been’d collektin’ fo twoney fuyy yerz tho.

Never seen one day on street! Never even took State certification test.
If she wasnt able to heal & rethread like so many before and after her that’s on her.
Should have NEVER been granted disability.

Got caught and now it’s everyone else’s fault. Sad that she was probably pension vested after 10 yrs. Happy she didn’t make it to 20.
POS is now gonna have to actually work for a paycheck.

I’m going to venture a guess that if she even has an attorney…he or she or they/them wouldn’t even entertain getting involved in this. Even non-Attorneys and low IQ people know that her case is public information and there’s no defamation involved. She should consider herself lucky.
So glad you’re keeping a woman accountable and responsible for her bad behavior. That’s a very rare thing we know how the courts or even general social standards let women get away with things no man on earth would ever get away with.
Don’t ever expect an apology or admittance of wrongdoing. Keep her feet to the fire. If more people (or folks) did then the disparaging double standards women enjoy over men would greatly dissipate.

A long time ago I was in the academy with a person who had their big toe nearly chopped off by a heavy weight. After surgery and recovery he came right back and jumped into another class and finished and was the police for 20 plus years. Never looked to cry victim. Now adays people are feeling very entitled and know the free handouts are available.

O/T from a thread a couple days ago. Now THIS is interesting stuff. Here you have upper management admitting the selection process for a big city police departments SWAT team is compromised. In this age of craziness, terrorism etc, you decide it’s ok to cut corners when it comes to staffing a SWAT unit?!?! Loughran is and has always been a useless cowardly pussy with clout and Little Man Syndrome. But this takes it to a whole new level.

In short, I'm asking all Exempts to consider who would be an excellent candidate for the Team. We've made some adjustments that maintain the integrity of the process, but allow us to still identify and draw the strongest candidates without lowering the standard. We aren't making it easier, per se, just realizing that we were potentially passing over some that would legitimately make excellent
Operators. This should correct that process, capture those qualified individuals and allow us to expand the Team according to the Superintendent's long-term plan.
Please pass this along to your Lts so the interest can be sparked, as its a short urn around. We are also sending out SWAT members to speak at roll calls this week in case there's any questions.

In the Academy in 1980, a recruit was injured in the gym class. Broken arm or leg, don't remember what. But recuperation would be protracted. Academy staff wanted the recruit to withdraw from the academy, heal up and would be rethreaded. Recruit refused, citing need for money for living expenses and the medical bills. Plus no guarantee that recruit would be placed back.
Recruit stayed on receiving full pay.
Before they try to muscle you off the job for an on-job injury, talk to a lawyer.
If it was all legit, why would she care?
Had a guy in my class, 93-3 that had a medical issue.

When I went through Army Basic training in the 80's we had a guy who had his leg amputated below the knee. Got hurt badly in training and then Army medicine being what it was it got infected.
I hope he's still collecting disability nearly forty years on.

I don't know the entire case, but I read it and I'm quite let down.
(rant) It's THIS stuff that prevents actually hurt officers from getting THEIR earned benefits. On duty injury? You need many lawyers to even get bills paid.

Disability scammers don't want it publicized they're on disability. That's more eyes on them, more having to cover their tracks, more having to remember to perform in public. I lived near one scammer who claimed she was on a personal leave to take care of her child. Had the whole neighborhood fooled.
