Too Many Chiefs....Again
So there's a new hire going through the Personnel Division, but no one knows why:
- On Monday, a female by the name of [CR-B] came to the CPD academy for her cert as a new employee. She is coming in as an exempt member, from the county police. She has bad paper following her along with numerous EEO beefs. I do not have specifics about either of those things, I just know they exist.Anyone whom has been asked about her knows nothing, or they’re simply not telling. Supposedly she’s in some program CPD has specifically for sworn members coming from county.Why is she coming here? Where is she going? As what? [W]hy all the secrecy?
According to a quick Google search, she was making over $120K as Community Corrections Executive Director.
We don't know of a similar job here in the CPD.
Who is scratching who's balls over this one?

She was a nightmare at the county and is one of the principle reasons why great people won’t go over to EM from the jail. Numerous EEOC beefs, bad attitude, vindictive, anti-union. You name it, she fits the bill.
She was in EM, as an exempt member. She then goes to CPD METRO academy as a recruit. For what agency? County EM? Why? The Cook County Sheriff’s Police already had an academy at triton college. They couldn’t put her through their metro academy instead?
Something reeks really really bad.

BJ will roll over and play dead for Prickstinkle, but why does Prickstinkle want one of her people working at the CPD?
Temporary to get the heat off of her? Okay, but why CPD? There are plenty of jobs she could occupy that would not raise any eyebrows.

Interesting, speaking about incompetent Chiefs, former Chief and 400 lbs of fun Jose Tirado and another incompetent John Hein attended a meeting regarding potential celebratory issues this weekend. Tirado, Joe the director of OEMC lamented being a Hispanic in Chicago. Hein then told those in attendance that this was “their” day and CPD is going let them celebrate. What does this all mean? That both of these fools were put in check and the street closure plan that they indicated was racist was implemented by Guidace and Waller. There is reporting in the Sun Times that reports some of this.
A politically connected overpromoted woman of color with a trail of beefs and ruined units...sounds like a perfect fit!!!
Hope CPD has made up a Chief position to welcome this county cast-off/plant....can only dream this opens the door for more and more Dart transplants.
Some of the best CPD officers I worked with started as corrections officers at the County....but then again also a couple of the snakiest and laziest...
Would say we (city,county,state) are in this together---but that is no longer the way it feels.

There was a video on the internet a few years ago of Gaines sleeping at the Cook County jail He also had that problem as a Sgt. in CPD And don't forget when he ran for office. Gaines badmouthed CPD with his good friend former Black panther Rush.

So - if you’re on the job and represented by Lodge 7 - you’d rather just remain blissfully ignorant/unaware of how little the boys on Washington do for us? You’re ok with them having short memories regarding what the upper management put thousands of coppers through? Crazy how hold the line don't mean shit? The bosses will flip on you and push termination clause on you for a bogus order and mandate, just like dirtbag Snelling. The bosses are not your friends nor will they protect you. FOP loves the Top Cop as Snelling but did they disregard the officers who got stripped/CR'd/no-pay status/termination process/lost benefits etc and fucked around by him and the ivory tower gang. What effective strategy did the FOP do? Nothing. Fucking nothing. Not a single win for the officers but in the end to get basically controlled by the city. 9/17 at 837pm, only city coppers and ISP do 6 months in the academy anyway. I did 12 weeks bud and I think we were still above the minimum training hours for the state at that time. It was always interesting to me that there was such a gap in training in the same state. Good ole Il.
