Back Pay, Seniority and Job
A group of teachers in New York City who were fired after they refused to take the COVID vaccine must be given their jobs back along with back pay, a New York judge ruled Wednesday.
State Supreme Court Judge Ralph Porzio ruled that the decision to fire 10 employees of the New York City Education Department and deny them religious exemptions was unlawful, arbitrary, and capricious.
The group of school principals, teachers, and other educators sued the city after they were fired.
And in New York City makes it more amazing.
Bad news is that this covered only the ten employees who sued. Class action status was denied for some reason, so there are still hundreds, perhaps thousands who are still unemployed as a result of asserting "my body, my choice" which doesn't seem to apply when liberals are in charge.

Still waiting to hear when a real unbiased judge will call out the mayor, the city, cities counsel, department, brass and all the other water carrying fools for the city get punished for what they did to the city employees for the portal and jab(to include the officers who got hit the hardest during this process). That’s when this video and law suit gets dropped. I thought it was gonna happen this month, but apparently it’s gonna be in October. Oh well… Just patiently waiting.

Dude from k9 did all the legwork with the religious exemptions. Submitted FOIAs and proved CPD was being discriminated against when the city and HR reviewed the paperwork for these. All other city jobs had like 75% approval while we had less than 1%. Coincidence? Hardly. It’s black and white and on paper but FOP won’t sue over this cuz they are controlled by the mayors office. Also proved their rules for reviewing the paperwork was arbitrarily. They basically got to pick and choose who got approved. And who got fucked until dude brought this to light ? Yep the police like always. And even when they got called out on it and they started to reverse course CPD was still approved only something like 20% while everyone else stayed over 70%. Can you say DISCRIMINATION??? Any lawyers want to class action this? Call k9 and ask for the details

I understand that officer was a legend for starting the religious exemption process to come to light for us. I give them nothing but props, but you see how the city divided and conquered on everyone? Why is it the city decided people from 0-35 days in no pay status gets basically 0-5 days of suspension, but after 35 days you are considered a termination case FOR THE SAME EXACT ORDER?! ANYONE? Ask me why does a lame new code designation of no pay/no discipline exist? Oh wait just for this shit, I understand your point, but look how the officers basically were screwed in different levels of fuckery. GRANTED though, it's great to see one of our do that and he/she deserves their praises for doing that and the winning formula for us to win again. But FOP is/has/will be silent because they don't have shit probably, nor do they turn the fire on the city for this shit? Why? I can't tell you, probably because they stopped caring. But I sure as hell believe if the city was in the wrong and we had a Union that did shit we wouldn't have officers infront of the Police Board for months and months dragging on for a wrongful order. Or officers in callback/376 waiting to "hear" their "case."
