The only politician with a lower approval rating than president potato is going to head up a gun violence Prevention Task Force:
- With the nation grappling with chronic gun violence — and with Congress unlikely to pass any new laws — President Joe Biden on Friday
launched a first-ever White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention, with Mayor Brandon Johnson, Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle and Rep. Robin Kelly, D-Ill., in the Rose Garden for the kick-off ceremony.
Vice President Kamala Harris will oversee the new office Biden created by executive order, as the focus of the White House and the groups working to curb gun violence increasingly look to state and local laws to take actions, since Republicans in Congress have no inclination to back more gun-related measures.
If Kamala is as good at gun violence prevention as she is at border control, we're all going to be counting bullet holes in our bodies by Halloween.

I used to work at cook county department of corrections. When I go out and smoke 65x a tour Ive had some crazy encounters. Rat attacks, pigeon crap, people throwing bottles at me, rat attacks, people flippin me off, Im surprised I havent had to draw down on more people. One in the chamber its a bad area. Anyway, its trivia night at my home bar. Looks like im going to have to call off again tomorrow. Cheers!
I can’t wait to move to a gun friendly state. The very people who want your guns never enforce the current laws. It’s as if they want things to get worse so they can have an excuse to take your firearms. There by leaving you defenseless and dependent on them. Which would be a bad day for all and their family. They favor criminals. Not hard working families.

On Sat 23 Sep 23 0430 at or about 5600-5700 N Milwaukee (016) 2M/1s were stealing a catalytic converter off of a car when apparently the owner confronted them. They began firing into a building where there were 10 to 15 rounds recovered inside a residence and about 30 spent 40 cal casings recovered on the street. Unk if anybody shot or injured. I was told there is a video of this floating around.
It would be informative if the news media, the CPD, and the Alderman posts the information so if you live in that area you are aware of what you could walk into. Does anyone know whats going on? Are there more?

How proud he was at taking 75 smoke breaks a shift etc. either I don’t understand the “joke” that he is constantly trying to make OR maybe he is too stupid to realize how embarrassing he sounds as he is actually PROUD of being a POS employee. I guess with all those smoke breaks he will have cancer in a month or two.

Maybe that's the plan. If they push Biden out as candidate, they're going to have to come up with someone. Newsom is spending an awful lot of time running around saying that he's not running.
They make Harris look like the failure that she is. Combined with bad polling (during the primaries I believe she polled the lowest ever), and she has no beef when they don't run her for president.

I've been told that statistically, illegal immigrants commit fewer crimes. I don't doubt that, but look at it this way; since they're not being vetted, we have no idea who's coming into the country. Do we really need to import MORE criminals? Shouldn't the job of committing crimes be given to Americans first? This is starting to look like the Mariel Boat Lift. We're most certainly not getting the best and the brightest.

Criminal or not it's a slap in the face to those that wait years, pay fees and come over legally. There are many legal immigrants that say that same thing. They will keep coming until something is done to stop the invasion. But you are right about there being criminals in the herd, and of course they are not vetted. Rep. Daniel Goldman (D-NY) is all for them no matter what. How could anyone with a grain of common sense say the border is not a problem and secure. And that the republicans are just fear mongering. The illegals will certainly have a number of anchor babies, that practice should have been outlawed decades ago.
