San Francisco trying desperately to stop the death spiral that lib-tards have put them in:
San Francisco's mayor has ordered city departments including police and public health to propose budget cuts of $206 million by next week in a desperate attempt to reverse the stricken city's 'doom loop' spiral into economic collapse.
Law enforcement budgets in the city, which is ravaged by homelessness, drugs and a downtown business exodus, face cuts of $27.6 million, while the public health department could lose a further $25.9 million, according to a DailyMail.com analysis.
The fire department must propose reductions of around $10.5 million to meet the mayor's demand, while city's crumbling Municipal Transport Agency must find savings of $15.5 million, a review of official figures suggests.
In a letter dated October 11, Mayor London Breed ordered departments to propose massive cuts to this year's budgets in order to prevent San Francisco reaching a $500 million deficit by 2025.
Not that we're attempting to rain on the pay-raise parade that we just won in arbitration.
Nor to wish ill on the record contract raises that BJ is going to grant his cronies at CPS in the very near future.
But SanFran is maybe a year or two ahead of where we are.

With all these massive budget cuts, how is San Francisco supposed to pay for the $5 million reparations bill to every black resident that their commitee suggested?

Years ago I used to vacation in San Francisco. California had a lot to offer, climate, ocean, mountains, redwood forests and much more. San Francisco was beautiful. It was termed the Golden State and had been conservative. I have spoken to a few people who have been to SF as of late and they all said they would never go back as it was disgusting. Gee how could this be? The answer is the mismanagement and the corruption of the Democrat Party. Breed is a Dem as well as the entire 11 member Bd of Supervisors (aldermen) which oversees the City & County. For CA the US Congress and the State Legislature is overwhelmingly Dem.
CA is the breeding ground for such names as, Harris and her mentor Willie Brown, Pelosi, Newsome, Schiff, Feinstein, Swalwell, Mad Maxine Waters and others.
SF was also the home to Dem DA Chesa Boudin who was raised by Chicago’s very own Terrorist Weathermen Bill Ayers & Bernardine Dohrn (best buds to Obama). Boudin contributed to the crime in SF by refusing to prosecute criminals (sound familiar?).
London Breed’s brother, Napoleon Brown, was convicted of murder, car jacking & armed robbery in 2005 & got 44 years. The case was just up for a resentencing review and he may get out in a year. Oh the new DA, Brooke Jenkins, which was appointed by Breed is involved but a judge ruled there is no conflict of interest.
So why is SF on the skids? Incompetent Democrat politicians who do not have any idea on how to correct the homeless tent city problem and crime where gangs of savages ransack & rob businesses. Businesses and citizens are leaving SF and the State because of this and the taxes.

The Chicago and Illinois financial collapse timeline has a built in delay.
Whaaat? you ask? Simple. Income Taxes are collected the next year for the previous year. Let's just use a purely speculative example. Chicago is doing great next year right up to the DNC Convention in August. Then, under the able leadership of BJ and the fat Bear, riots and unrest break out as expected. Half the town gets burned down and most of the other half gets looted and trashed. Hundreds of Thousands are suddenly unemployed, and millions just say "Fuck It!" and move at the end of 2024 or beginning of 2025. Income Tax receipts collected in 2025 from 2024 are near normal. By the middle of 2025, rumors of budget issues are talked about, but most people will never notice. But by 2026, tax receipts have collapsed. Suddenly drastic budget cuts are needed in the 2026 spending.
The death spiral begins. Budget cuts to all services including police, sheriff and the courts. Fewer criminals being locked up. More crime, more residents fleeing, less tax collection. More budget cuts, less police, more crime ...
Imagine what happens when the EBT gets cut? Or worse, there is no money to recharge the EBT Cards on the first of the month?
