Racist Plan

We're just going to reject this bullshit "race card" out of hand:

• The city of Chicago and Democrat Mayor Brandon Johnson is calling on city authorities to give black residents fewer parking tickets in an effort to push “racial equity.”

  The city has established a “Racial Equity Office,” which pushes the idea that urgency is white supremacist, and has made its city police give fewer parking tickets to black residents.

  “Chicago has a long history of racial disparities and social inequities, especially on the South and West Sides. As a longtime resident of Chicago’s West Side, I see the devastating impact systemic inequality can have on a neighborhood and its residents,” Chicago Mayor Brandon Johsnon said.

  In order to achieve “racial equity,” Johnson said, “we must acknowledge the injustices of the past and consistently include those who are most impacted by inequality in our policy and decision making, not just when it is easy or convenient.”

First of all, parking enforcement isn't "racist." Either you park legally in compliance with the signs posted every seventy or eighty feet, or you take your chances. It ain't difficult.

Second, cops are writing a fraction of tickets nowadays. Parking enforcement has, for the most part, either been privatized or is being written by other city departments.

Thirdly, we've said this before. If you want to make a list of Laws and Ordinances that certain demographics are exempt from, post a list and spread it around so everyone can see it. Mayor BJ is making a hesitant step in that direction by "calling on city authorities" to issue less tickets.....Mayor BJ is the head city authority by the way.

And finally, have you seen who is writing the tickets for the private companies? These aren't college graduates with degrees. This is an entry level type job....a resume builder....that will hopefully lead to another better paying career for the slightly ambitious. Or a lifetime, dead-end, can't-get-fired type job....take your pick.

The only racist here appears to be Mayor Blowie himself.

UPDATE: As someone pointed out, how do you tell what race person owns an unoccupied parked vehicle? "Racism" must be some kind of magical power.
