- Caravan has part of it stopped northbound blocking all 3 lanes of traffic on Mannheim on the bridge over I-190 CPD, #ISP and #IDOT have units blocking all I-190 access ramps at Mannheim
- All non-caravan traffic from northbound Mannheim is being forced east on I-190 CPD requesting Schiller Park to close NB Mannheim at Lawrence
- “Can we get some tow trucks? These people are getting out of their cars…. Get as many tow trucks as we can and start towing these people” NB Mannheim at I-190
- “Did we notify Park Ridge?” “They’ve already taken over Lake Shore Drive downtown. If we can keep them contained somewhere that might work too and maybe they’ll go”
- ...sending a unit to the Uber lot off Balmoral at OHare Way to direct traffic there and keep cars off of Mannheim

The media wrote about the fog screwing up Midway, but again, the casual viewer visiting media sites - without doing a deep dive - won't find a thing about O'Hare access being denied by terrorist sympathizers.

There is video of the Kennedy and also an Instagram video of these subversives blocking Ridge Blvd, Evanston in front of Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky’s house and also in Chicago ,maybe on LSD, with Congressman Durbin. I don’t feel sorry for these two liberal far left loons though. So in Evanston they were there for a long time disrupting her neighbors and had traffic at a standstill. In the video of Durbin he goes out and speaks to the radicals and says he is going to look into their concerns when he gets back in Congress this week. He is standing next to a CPD Lt. How about telling them to get their asses out of there!!
II wonder how many people who got tied up on the Kennedy got inconvenienced by these turds. About two weeks ago I was going downtown and could not even get on the Kennedy and had to take side streets. I had relatives who work downtown who got tied up in their protests a few weeks ago. So this is occurring frequently, why do we have to put up with it? Does BLM Brandon have an imediate plan or is he going to throw it into the “Getting to the root of things” box?!! First time? Suburbs have been dealing with this caravan garbage for a few weeks now. They usually stage at 60th / Harlem and go south. For some reason they usually drive from 60th to 115th and back. Lately they started going north so now this makes sense why. Maybe 2 weeks ago they went to 87th / Harlem and completely shut it down for a few hours for protesting garbage. At one point they marched to 95th and did some stupid loop back. Everyone is just told to monitor them, don’t arrest / interfere and basically let them do whatever they want. This is exactly what happens. They think they are untouchable so now they are interfering with the interstate, trying to fuck with the airport, etc. Fucking city & suburbs are falling apart. Gotta worry about these nimrods protesting and causing disturbances and now you have the migrant buses showing up randomly outside the city where people are trying to dump them off randomly into other towns. As a society, wtf are we even doing anymore…

Regarding closing the borders for these particular protestors. Chicago has a large Arab population in southwest side for generations and it has grown and expanded into the southwest suburbs: Bridgeview, Palos Hills, and where I live Orland Park are the biggest concentrations. Most of them are Palestinian but have been here for a long time.
So most of them were born here or have been here for decades. I just pray that they don’t open the floodgates and start bringing 10s and 100s of thousands of them as refugees from Gaza because with the family ties in this area they’ll all be coming here.

Protesters need permits for large planned events, in Chicago and elsewhere. Protesters, however, even those with permits, never have any right to interfere with or block traffic on roads or public sidewalks, even if their protest falls under the category of "spontaneous response to unfolding event," some of which do not require permits.
I suppose someone could apply for a permit to shut down vehicle traffic to O'Hare the day before Christmas, and I suppose it lies within the universe of Chicago bureaucracy that someone would actually grant them one.
Then the trial lawyers would have a paper trail, and the people who signed for the permit, and their sponsors, can be sued or arrested if the protest turns out to have been planned -- especially in advance -- to include "spontaneous" violence or road/pedestrian blockages.
Expect something on January 18 and the week following. Perhaps the people at CWB could document planning events. Any discussion of umbrellas means violence. Quaker Meeting Houses and health food stores (local, not Whole Foods) is where they will be, or be advertising for participants. The more people know about this in advance, the more pressure can be applied to elected officials in advance.
For what that's worth. Still, better than nothing. We in Georgia have an AG who is RICOing these groups. I'm sure he would appreciate any evidence of the same organizations intentionally breaking similar laws in other states.
