Fire Scandal
Just like to take a moment to thank the CFD for taking the spotlight off CPD for a few days:
A Chicago firefighter has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting and gravely wounding another driver in Andersonville on New Year’s Eve. Omatayo Kassim, 34, will appear for a detention hearing at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse on Wednesday, according to a media statement from the Chicago Police Department.
Kassim has been a Chicago firefighter and EMT since 2019, but he is now on administrative suspension in light of the allegations, a fire department spokesperson said Tuesday night. The victim, 35, remains hospitalized with a bullet lodged in his neck near the spinal cord, according to a source familiar with the situation.
A road rage incident that resulted in the firefighter chasing down a hit-and-run offender, attempting numerous "pit" maneuvers, and then shooting the other driver after forcing him into parked vehicles.
All things that we can't do or were never allowed to do.
If this was a police officer, there would be disciplinary histories dragged in, CR summaries from the Invisible Institute jagoffs and a deep dive into family history. But somehow, this knucklehead's family history isn't even mentioned, and it's quite the history that the media isn't mentioning.
Like how his sister spit on two paramedics the other day. Or how she then attacked two cops.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

The offender is already out on ankle monitor, so for aggravated batt you walk s there anything these pos judges and absent states attorney hold criminals for? Why don't we cut at least 75% of judges and 75% of states attorneys along with many of Tommy's employees? How many employees still employed at empty jail?

There is another fireman who loaded up his cart at the home depot at North Ave and Elston and walked out the front door without paying. When confronted by store security he identified himself as a policman. He too is on administrative leave

ISP has to be notified. From my time spent at ERPS, CPD personnel rarely submitted the ISP Clear And Present Danger Request.

Yes.
Impulsive behaviors cannot be detected by any vetting process currently applied.
There are methods to detect the lack of effective impulsive behaviors, they are not chosen to be applied for some valid/practicle reasons. And some invalid/political reasons.
I refrain from specifying any of them. So the impulse to do so is well controlled.

a quiet lead up to St. Paddy's Day. But the 4 horsemen so cameth with
