Illegals Turned Away?
While speaking to New York ABC affiliate WABC on Monday, Edison, New Jersey Mayor Sam Joshi (D) stated that he turned a bus full of migrants sent to the city back because local police “did not know if any of those 40 individuals were carrying weapons, they couldn’t be identified.” And this is “a major security risk. It’s a health risk. And we’re just not going to tolerate that.” Joshi, who plans to send migrants back to the border, also stated that he doesn’t want to pawn problems off on other mayors.
WABC New Jersey Reporter Toni Yates stated, “The town of Edison, however, has its own answer: A charter bus to send migrants back to the southern border. The bus that arrived the other night was simply ordered to leave.”
They're turning them away because they "did not know if any of those
40 individuals were carrying weapons"? You mean the feds aren't checking them at the border? We already know they aren't screening them for disease or fentanyl packages, but New Jersey democrats are hanging their hats on imaginary guns? And they're hiring buses to send them back?
Usually it's the lawyers making all the money, but we're looking into buying a couple of buses.

I once upon a time lived just 1 block from St Bartholomew church and school and the school is now going to be or is already a migrant shelter for 300-350 people. This is in a mainly single family home, residential neighborhood with a few scattered apartment buildings like most Chicago neighborhoods. Not a lot of commercial businesses, parks are all several blocks away. What a these people going to do in this area? Stay in the building or yard next to the former convent, I doubt it. A liberal acquaintance and I had a discussion and their answer was that only families were going to be allowed. So no visitors? No leaving the premises? No curfew? No restrictions? A family member who is 17-18-19? They saw no problem at all but then again they suffer from the liberal disease. I wonder when the burglaries, thefts, purse snatching, car thefts will start.

Illinois opening new migrant intake center at Chicago bus landing zone

CHICAGO (CBS) -- State officials have started building a new migrant intake center on the site of Chicago's designated landing zone for buses bringing newly arrived asylum seekers to the city.
The Illinois Department of Human Services confirmed six heated tents are under construction at the Chicago landing zone at 800 S. Desplaines St., just blocks from the city's Greyound bus station, the Ogilvie Transportation Center, and Union Station. They're expected to open "in the coming weeks.
