More CPS Corruption?
Supposedly, sex assaults by CPS employees are on an upward trajectory. Rumor has it there's also a federal investigation underway:
- Speaking of feds, the US Dept of Education personnel have been snooping
around and grilling people on misappropriation of funds by CPS
principals and network chiefs. It seems their discretionary spending
hasn't been so discretionary, Internal Accounts have been used to pay
staff for ghost hours and purchases from non-approved vendors, and
budget transfers are being on items that can't be found in school
buildings. Has anyone seen a $100K sound system?
Word is 3-4 Northside principals will be forced to resign sometime in March. As you may or may not know, CPS rarely fires principals and most often gives them the resign or be investigated ultimatum.
And we still have the unresolved PPP loan stuff in the background.
But the election will probably interfere with all of this.

Pedo school faculty members victimizing students in schools? Oh no we can’t talk about that. We don’t want parents to panic and take their kids out of school. And also don’t tell the parents that there were 600 complaints from CPS students of sexual assault/abuse by CPS faculty members in 2022. Parents would be more comfortable home schooling their kids and the CPS gravy train would come to a stop. Media and Feds will bury this.

One of things going on is there seems to a secret CPS principals' playbook in dealing with CPS and skirting policies and financial restrictions. It's part of something called the 'Secret Sauce.'
The whole idea is to use your school's Internal Accounts and Budget Transfers to purchase items each school supposedly needs without going through approved vendors (this takes forever) along with paying teachers and staffers ghost hours and purchasing catered food and clothing for their employees, among other things.
Since principals aren't business managers, purchasers, or accountants, the principals throw this buying power to a minion, normally a clerk or tech coordinator. What could go wrong? This especially as clerks need only HS diplomas or GEDs to be hired and tech coordinators need to have a degree in any area and mostly are 2 year degrees from schools like DeVry or an online in Grand Canyon University.
Some years ago, Lake View HS had a tech coordinator named Robert Tirado that was following their principal's orders in creating a 'slush fund' by falsifying invoices and sending them into CPS for reimbursement and putting that money into the school's account. Tirado was given passwords to school accounts and would deposit checks himself. This got out of hand and Tirado fleeced CPS for over $1M. Two Lake View clerks were let go with one given a DNH designation in this scandal.
At the same time, a CPS tech coordinator that split time between Clark and Gage Park HS was nailed for doing the same thing.
Now, principals are under investigation for getting their LSCs or networks to approve frivolous budget transfers for non-approved vendor purchases or paying for purchases through internal accounts. LSCs and the networks are blindly approving everything presented to them.
This is hard to track as instead of scanning invoices and receipts into online school accounts, principals are bookkeeping everything in binders, ripe for fraud.
Millions upon millions of dollars are being funneled away by principals.
This is another reason why schools don't want police in schools.

Most CPS graduates are becoming "useful idiots". We are going to have to get used to paying them 20 dollars an hour to work at a fast-food joint. No one else will. The rest of these "useful idiots" will just get themselves on SSI after a brief college edu-macation on the government dime.

Old time scam that I’m not sure is going on anymore. Schools were having trouble with smoke alarms going off. Although 99% of the problem was kids pulling the alarms just to be assholes. The other rare issues were alarms going off in boiler rooms or elevator shafts. While looking at the alarm panels you would see that it would be whatever brand name it was Model 200. However when you looked at the paper work or operating manual it was for a Model 500.
That’s like going into a Mercedes dealership and paying $100,000 for Model 550 and driving out in a $40,000 Model 250. Probably just split the difference on the cost. The engineer in the building would say he’s only been here a short time and has no idea what kind of an alarm panel was installed 10-15 years prior. The thing was he was right.
Board Headquarters didn’t want to know. That stuff was all part of some prior scandal. Who wanted to start digging up dirt that was long buried.

If you have yet removed your kids from the public school system, do yourself and your kids a favor and enroll them in private school ASAP. And at all costs.
CPD has been graduating "meatheads" for decades...and remember the CTU didn't want virtual learning to go away. They are not interested in teaching children. They pass kids who can't read onto the next grade who eventually graduate and still can't read. The system is severely broken. Blame parents all you want, but blame teachers more. Next contract they will ask for more money at property owners' expense, and say that it is "all for the children"
They have sucked at that teat far too long IMHO. I have no more compassion for teachers. My property tax has doubled and their "students" I.Q. has dropped like a stone.
Mayor BJ is a perfect example of what's very wrong here. Spending billions unchecked and then asking for more with Zero improvement to performance. Every contract is "more money for dumber kids" And these kids (demons) turn into hardened criminals before they "graduate"...

What's really frightening is seeing the Chicago Public School graduates that are currently recruits and PPOs on this job. Most read and write at a 4th Grade Level. Many can't even speak fluent English or do basic math. We are giving firearms, the power of arrest and a $100,000 salary to a bunch of 10-year olds! This new generation is the "Multiple Choice Police". Don't believe me? At weapons quals look at their faces when you tell them they only need 9 rounds in their last magazine. {snicker}
The sexual abuse in the Chicago Public Schools is so bad that next school year they will be requiring students to wear a neoprene wetsuit.
