- Four Dolton trustees are looking to hire former Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot to investigate their mayor, Tiffany Henyard, as the village finds itself embroiled in controversy.
The investigation stems from a series of events surrounding a trip to Las Vegas in May 2023. Allegations of serious misconduct surfaced, which prompted Henyard and her administration to come under scrutiny.
The trip, initially billed as an opportunity for economic development, involved Henyard, Village Trustees and personnel from Dolton and Thornton Township. However, upon Henyard's return, there was allegedly a notable lack of communication regarding any potential economic benefits or events from the trip.
The Dolton trustees are concerned that mayor Henyard is using taxpayer money for less-than-legit expenditures.
The solution?
- If approved by the Board, [Groot's] law firm will charge $400 per hour for her services.
Maybe she can finally pay for her own house security?

The feds are increasingly a joke, but shouldn't they, or another law enforcement agency with the appropriate jurisdiction, investigate any possible wrongdoing?

Recently, more of Henyard’s failures resulted in Dolton’s police and fire department telephones being disconnected, Henyard electioneered with a Cook County Judge during a township event, placed police license plates on township vehicles illegally, and the Secretary of State Police confiscated the plates off the fake township police vehicles.
On Valentine’s Day 2024, the bank sent the village of Dolton a certified letter detailing how the village was $76,138.00 past due in contractual lease payments for 13 vehicles (which includes 6 police patrol vehicles), including one held as collateral in a $332,761 contract from 2019.....
The bank indicated previous attempts at obtaining payments, and the village ignoring communications from the bank since May of 2023, has led the bank to demand the vehicles be provided for repossession.
The letter indicates the bank plans immediate repossession, that they will sell the vehicles to recoup what costs they can and will pursue additional costs, interest, and legal fees through the courts until they are made whole....

The trustees in Dolton have lost their credibility. Why on earth would they hire Mayor Lightfoot? They could have hired someone with experience and ability. But they hired Lori Lightfoot.

I was totally rooting for the Dalton Board of Trustees to oversee this thing through and get rid of that corrupt Mayor. Now the trustees have totally lost all credibility if they actually hire this failure of a Chicago mayor. And at $400 per hour? A loser black lesbian failure of a mayor investigating a loser black mayor (is she also a lesbian) will result in "no illegal activities found" and that will be that. AG Raul is investigating but again, he is a corrupt black AG so he will also find nothing. I really feel sorry for the people that live in Dolton. What a shithole place to live but then again, so is Robbins and Harvey.

After Littlefoots total administrative failure, and complete disaster for the citizens of Chicago, now she is ambulance chasing in Dolton, Ill?
I wouldn't hire her to clean my car windows in an intersection on Halsted and Grand...

There were rumblings about the FBI sniffing around Dolton over this but my guess is that Bidens DOJ made them stop so as not to mess with Shaneequa Da Super Mayor.
Now they hire Beetlejuice at $400 an hour to "investigate". LOL! Most likely they will bill the township hundreds and hundreds of hours only to come up empty. Nothing to see here. All is well.

Dolton, the new Cicero...
FBI has interviewed several people as part of investigation into Henyard and the Dolton/Township issues; mainstream media reported this a few weeks ago. Why the Dolton Trustees are not contacting the FBI is the strange part; although some of trustees (Just like all but one of the Thornton Township trustees) are in the Mayor's/Township Supervisor's pocket already.
