At Least They Could Chase
A Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Department captain who oversees the 4th District Station in the nation’s capital was shot in the head while commuting to work on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred as part of an apparent carjacking attempt around 12:10 PM in the area of 7th Street and Oneida Place Northwest, just five blocks from the police station.
According to D.C. police Chief Pamela Smith, the officer was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, with the gunshot wound reportedly being superficial. The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department engaged in a car chase of the suspects. Two individuals were taken into custody in Prince George’s County after crashing and rolling the car they occupied.
Just another blue state $hithole we suppose.

We should be assigned a department encrypted radio that we can also carry while o.d. Chases come through the hood and offdutys are clueless as to what's going on. It's a waste of info and assistance. Im not for being on call 24/7 but if its unfolding on top of me I think we should be able to be in the know for safety. At least have some kind of CPD employee app with updates to your phone if something is going on near the preselected districts. I'm running out of people otj on all watches that can check the pcad for me. It's usually over by the time they get back to me.
The offenders of the car being chased will now sue the police for chasing them.

This is the same BLM mayor who painted Black Lives Matter on the street in letters that went from curb to curb 2 blocks long in bright yellow paint. And she added a BLM plaza by the White House. She did this in front of the entrance to the White House when Trump was the President. And she used taxpayer money to do it.

Do you think the new states attorney that is coming into office who said she was going to lock up criminals but now she is backing down do you think she will actually do anything or did the George soros money already reach her bank account?
You just know you're the police in a Democrat controlled city when your shift doesn't begin at roll-call...and it doesn't end when you hand in your radio. You're facing real danger just going to and from work now. (Trying to get home from the new academy is like my time driving through the Green Zone in Iraq. A red traffic light just means "Pause".)
Carry a tourniquet and Quik-Clot in your glove box or arm rest. Also get rid of those sub-compact 8+1 handguns or snubbies. You need a 13+handgun and a reload when traveling anywhere in Chicongo. PS...I hope the Asian-American copper that got lit up in Pilsen last Father's Day-weekend just trying to get to work on 1st Watch is doing ok. Police chases that actually scare you to watrch. Arkansas state police are the very best at high speed chases. The people who drive in Arkansas are intelligent and move over for police to pursue offenders. Look on the internet for a motorcycle chase by Arkansas state police. The video is over 12 minutes. The motrcycle reaches speeds of 142 MPH and the trooper keeps up with him. The police finally blocked him off and forced him into a ditch. The offender was cuffed and walked to the squad.
Can’t chase, can’t shoot, no reason to arrest (no prosecutions). The greatest benefit to the squad cars is an air conditioned spot to rest while the animals run amok.

LOL...you must be new in town. Jagoffs are driving crazy and going through red lights with or without CPD in tow. Drag-racers, dirt-bike gangs, drivers high on weed and Dude Inc fleeing and going onto their next armed robbery are who you share the city streets with. Besides ISP and the Feds don't go over our zones with their chases anyways. You should be driving at Defcon 4 as soon as the sun goes down (especially on weekends). You'll know if there was a police chase if you see flashing blue lights just before you go through the windshield or get tossed in your T-boned vehicle. {clown emoji}
