Articles of interest we've run across tonight.
Another useless police oversight body, bringing the total to something like eight:
The president and vice president of Chicago’s Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability on Tuesday are among Mayor Brandon Johnson’s choices to serve on the permanent panel responsible for civilian oversight of the Chicago Police Department.
Anthony Driver Jr. and interim vice president Remel Terry are among seven mayoral nominees to the permanent commission.
So we've got COPA, IAD, the Police Board, the Consent Decree people, this "Accountability" board, the local District Councils, Crimesha's task force....we're missing one somewhere.
Is there any comparable amount of people and boards overseeing the Fire Department? The schools? The City Council?

Marty Preib explains the rotten media structure that abets Crimesha's corruption:
Among the new buzzwords in Chicago’s war on the criminal justice system is the claim of “duty to intervene.”
The phrase describes the city’s demand that officers should turn in officers who commit misconduct. That is the rhetoric. In reality, it is a phrase that will be used to cast a wider net in the war on police officers by attorneys and their media lapdogs.
Go read it all - the amount of taxpayer money being directed at these corrupt institutions is astounding.

Our old friends at the Contrarian take a deep dive into Conehead's efforts to make Dexter into osome sort of martyr and provoke Minnesota riots here:
- ....it was Mayor Johnson who delivered the most disturbing remarks
and they are worth examination. Describing the incident in front of
reporters, Johnson declared the events capturing Reed firing on officers
and police defending themselves on video as “deeply disturbing,”
“painful,” and “traumatic.” Projecting undue calm, Johnson sulked with
anguish over Reed’s death, as if Chicago had suffered a great loss with
the armed gunman’s death.
Far from a tragedy, Johnson neither mentioned Reed’s criminal history — Reed was out on bail awaiting trial on a felony gun charge — nor did the mayor explicitly state Reed fired at police. Worse, Johnson waited until near the conclusion of his remarks to address Reed’s attack on police, describing with indifference how he would never “condone” or “excuse” an attack on police. Most troubling was Johnson approximating the value of the life of Reed and his victim, Officer Gregory St. Louis. A bizarre parallel for the mayor to draw as he addressed an armed criminal who shot at and wounded a police officer, Johnson’s comments only highlighted his contradictory prioritization of violent criminals over police or unarmed citizens.
Well written and - to the uninformed - eye-popping conclusions that Conehead's sole effort was to undermine Officers doing their jobs and expose taxpayers to yet another ghetto lottery payout.
Go read it all.

Holy oversight Batman. How many of the these oversight groups are they going to allow???
This post proves the city leadership has no clue what they are doing. The blind (politicians) leading the blind (voters). I can’t wait to retire. Down to two more years.
So we've got COPA, IAD, the Police Board, the Consent Decree people, this "Accountability" board, the local District Councils, Crimesha's task force....we're missing one somewhere.
You are missing the Civil Rights and Police Accountability Clinic of the University of Chicago Law School as headed by ultra-radical liberal Craig Futterman.
https://www.law.uchicago.edu/clinics/mandel/police
I will take this opportunity to re-post, if you’ll excuse me, but I think it is important to get the knowledge out, as this is what we are up against.
Questions swirl around Chicago police shootout that killed Dexter Reed Jr.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUs4lASDBJU
I just saw this. It is an interview on Fox 32 morning news. Listen to this ultra-radical liberal Craig Futterman (law professor from Univ. of Chicago, heads a civil rights and police accountability project) in regards to the Dexter Reed shooing. I have listened to this multiple times, and it seems Futterman believes either #1 force was not necessary in this instance or #2 de-policing should be practiced and the police (tact team) should not even have been in that neighborhood.
For the life of me I cannot figure how a thinking human being can come to the conclusions that Futterman has come to. (of course he did not conclude that Reed did anything wrong , just that the police did everything wrong).
He faults the police for pointing their guns at Reed as Reed refused compliance.
“The beginning of this really violated every rule in the book … prioritize the sanctity of human life. There is a mandatory duty of de-escalation, to only use force when it is absolutely necessary , and, in this case, from the very beginning you had 5 officers, tact car …sitting on the hump in the middle (yes, strangely enough, he actually said this) geared up in tact gear, ready to go, and they were not there to stop people or give tickets for a seat belt violation, with 10 seconds of just jumping out of the car there were guns pointed directly at Reed while sitting in the car, that is contrary to every rule in the book (is it really Mr. Futterman?) about how you avoid situations like this and questions whether that stop should have ever occurred in the first place …and whether we are going to send tactical officers into lower income black and brown neighborhoods in Chicago and tell them to go out, lay hands on people, stop people wherever you can, get guns … that hasn’t been effective in keeping people safe (what is the alternative Mr. Futterman, de-police? Is that what the residents of Englewood want? Why don’t you ask THEM instead of some Highland Park liberal) : Wow. That’s his take on this? This is a community activist, and this is his take. I guess he has yet to become a victim so he really has not perspective about true victimhood.
To every officer involved in the Dexter Reed incident. I can’t imagine how traumatized you all are that you were fired upon and Dexter Reed attempted to murder all of you. I’m so sorry this happened to you guys. I’m sure you guys are apprehensive about returning to work do to possible PTSD. Maybe you guys have anxiety and can’t sleep because of possible PTSD. I think all of you should talk to a doctor and if it’s determined you suffer from PTSD , maybe you should hit the medical to deal with this. If you need more time and you’re still suffering from PTSD, maybe apply for disability for PTSD. PTSD is a real thing. Please get help. God bless you all.
BJ should come out and thank the police for taking a violent criminal off the streets. And make an example to the violent communities that their violent ways will lead to bad things happening. This is pretty simple.
Where is the civilian oversight for the politicians?
Civilian here: I don't care if you're cop, an accountant or a garbage collector. Nobody can do their jobs with a committee of amateurs criticizing, second guessing and picking apart everything they do. I work in a low-pressure office and I would never stay at a company under such conditions, I don't know how police officers are expected to.
Anthony Driver who doesn’t live in the 9th district came to a police accountability meeting given by cop hater Erin Vogel. There he wasted 9th district citizens time spewing his hate about the police. These meetings are supposed to bring the community and police together. Not attempt to brain wash people in lot police hating. Every other district I’ve spoken to has people actually facilitating events with police. Anthony Driver is a police hater, so is Erin Vogel and all the people they pepper the audience with. Driver’s mother was a 912 dispatcher until she was fired for vacationing on a cruise while on the medical!
Not only COPA, IAD & the other oversight but dont forget the coward new cops who come on this job and don't know their ass from a hole in the ground, claiming the working cops are lying on reports. Mind your business cowards cuz when you step on your dicks then you gonna wish a working cops bail you out.
Any hope of change with the city's leadership has flown out of the window, with the recent event of a clearly justified police use of deadly force incident being portrayed by this mayor as unjustified. That was something I would have expected out of the former mayor but was holding onto false hope that this one would be different. Clearly I was wrong. My bad. To the retired heroes in blue, be safe, enjoy your retirement, and thanks for your service to an unthankful city. To the working heroes in blue, be safe, do as little as possible, take a slow roll to calls, 19p most of them, write paper only when necessary, and most important GO HOME SAFE AT THE END OF YOUR SHIFT, do not sacrifice yourselves for the UNGRATEFUL PEOPLE OF CHICAGO, MAINLY THE LEADERSHIP OF THIS CITY. YOU ARE ALL HEROES AND DESERVE RESPECT, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE EVEN THOUGH I WILL BE CONDEMED BY MANY FOR SAYING THAT. I'VE ALWAYS GOT YOUR 6
Retired in Texas……
“Duty to intervene.” The catch all to punish all. Sooooo I took a look at this Remel terry. You can see this persons profile on equiticity.org. The title says it all.
In her profile you see buzzwords like: grassroots, community sustainability, social justice, empowerment etc, you know they hate the police.
More clues you will not get a fair shake; Collaborated with the aclu, blm, adl, and the naacp. Collaborated on what?
It goes on to read, terry addresses police misconduct and accountability and is determined to eradicate racial disparities.
Oh let’s not forget terry was recognized by the Fred Hampton scholarship fund. I assume for her community brain washing, but that’s my assumption.
It gets better. Terry is an advisory member to copa.
So no mention of terry teaching/advising/showing the community how to comport them selves when interacting with the police or assimilating into a lawful society.
cone head is continuing to stack the deck with social justice engineers.
Watch each others backs out there boys & girls.
Oversight THIS!
After the Huesca funeral disaster, Conehead has not only lost any shred of respect the Mayor of Chicago should have, he has simply lost his mind. Cracked. Or, perhaps, people are seeing that he never had much upstairs to being with. Where are the recall papers?
Many thanks always, to Marty Preib and Florian Sohnke.

Thousands of savage knife attacks in London, but...
"Met Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley said today that he was reviewing whether officers 'should have wider access' to Tasers.
"But he argued giving police firearms would not be the answer.
"'I am not someone who is a fan of moving to fully armed policing,' he told LBC. 'We should be proud of our largely unarmed model, that is something to be envied and protected.'"
I.E., this ancient "model" needs to be "protected" - rather than human life and safety.
"A total of 14,626 knife offences were recorded by police in the capital last year - an average of 40 a day and up by a fifth on 2022.
"There was also an increase in gun crime, with 1,208 recorded over 2023 - up by more than 200 compared to the previous year."

Where is the civilian oversight for the politicians?
5/01/2024 07:05:00 AM
They rely upon this being what we commonly know as 'elections'.
The equation they live to is this:
They need not fool all of the people, all of the time.
Nor some of the people, all of the time.
Nor all of the people, some of the time.
Merely just the needed number of the people at just the right time, aka, elections time.
Fooled into not voting at all.
Fooled into voting how the politicians want.
Fooled into not doubting the abosolute integrity of each and every election's process, and, thus, outcome.
And, most vitally to them, fooled into accepting that the people are their bosses.
There was an Anthony Driver who worked in 007 a few years back, hopefully no relations, wasn't to be trusted if you get my drift.
anthony driver has cousins that sell dope in both maywood and broadview ill
COOK COUNTY - FOX 32 Chicago has obtained copies of the two federal subpoenas served Friday on Thornton Township, and there are two big takeaways: Tiffany Henyard is clearly a target of the criminal investigation, and also that the investigation is growing.
"Overall, it tells me that the investigation is expanding. It's not just focusing on the City of Dolton," said Ross Rice, former FBI agent.
tiffany you go girl
see what happens when you give up that booty

all involved in defending yourself, hire the best attorney and file a lawsuit against anyone and everyone that made any disparaging comments on the news about excessive force.
You all did your job as trained and thank God none of you were killed.
When the left comes up with something like "duty to intervene", it's portrayed as something absolutely essential to good government. When the right does it, it's portrayed as a threat to democracy.
So Officer why did you fire that many shots? Because the Criminals today have Glocks with switches and 30 round magazines. CASE CLOSED.
Yet another FBI warning ladies and gentlemen, something big is going to happen, just protect yourselves, protect each other. These punks at the universities have no clue what they are doing active terrorists are there just a matter of time protect each other, protect the homeland also

Huh. Surprised to see Marty got fired from the Contrarian, but I guess the rumors were true after all.
Any punk who dares to riot or cause violent mayhem over the justified Reed shooting needs to join him 6 feet under. The "funnin' is over.

Don’t be so naïve, they know exactly what they are doing.
They’re “goals” aren’t the same as yours.

When the head of the FBI constantly is talking publicly about all the red lights all the warnings inside the United States, that he is seeing tells you something they are making sure that they are not responsible for the chaos murder, and Mayham that is obviously coming. They know a lot more than we know their intelligence operation is unbelievable they know a lot God willing they will reveal it to the police officers so we know what to expect what is coming on the horizon. Do we have any new equipment? They are not even buying laser preventing eyeglasses.

His mother was a dispatcher that resigned under investigation.. nice family ya got there
"Asleep at the march? ACLU says Chicago may be unprepared for Democratic Convention protests"
Doesn't the aclu know they don't have a plan?
Just a few questions/comments. 1st, do any of coneheads protection unit have ANY self respect? I mean they drive this douche around (are all the vehicles on the detail still on the seizure list?) all day & all night & listen to his ANTI-Police rhetoric & not say a thing. They collect their pay & listen to speech after speech of cops were wrong, cops S/B investigated etc. yet they still go to work, wearing the same stars as the officers who were shot at FIRST by a now ventilated multi-convicted felon. Do these officers ever look in the mirror? Do they ever see the ghosts of dead officers looking over their shoulder? How can they live W/ themselves now 2nd, why isn’t bits & pieces of information “leak” out from them? I for one would sit outside of whatever suburban home he lives at & I’ll take pictures of the clown car parade as it pulls up! I won’t harass the family in anyway (after all they have to call him Dad, or hubby! Don’t take it out on the family. Now the side piece, pieces they would be fair game to ask some questions?? After all there is NO WAY that they can’t know he be married. Come on detail grow some hair on those balls. Let the citizens do some investigation. If he lives out of the city isn’t that an automatic violation? Even you officers doing protection can’t live outside of Shitcago. Spill the dirt, take some pride in your work!!!!!!
