Record Tying Effort

119 loses tied the AL record (Detroit 2003).

If they hit 120 today, that's a new AL record and ties the Major League record (NY Mets 1962).

121 would set a new all-time record.

Seven games to go.

Screw all 'major league' sports. Including the NCAA.

A good majority of the players are thugs.
Go to FX and record the new show on Aaron Hernandez.
This guy was total SCUM. It just fuckin' blows me what pieces of shit these dogs are.

The White Sux are virtually guaranteed a place in the MLB Hall of Shame.
They currently have a winning percentage of 23.2%
Based on that, they will win no more than 2 of their remaining 7 games.
Even that grim performance (28.57%) will improve their numbers.

And the Sox can try to break their own record next year. Could be 3 straight seasons of a 100+ losses next year

They want a new stadium. Still 50 million in unpaid bonds for the current newer stadium they play in. These people are delusional.

and they have the most fans shot inside the stadium while a game is being played and no one will talk about how it happened

Long time Sox fan. They won the division in 2021 with a 93-69 record. The 69 Mets record was 40- 120. They tied one game and one game did not get played. They had a guy named Frank Thomas that year who hit 34 homers and had 94 rbi. They were an expansion team.
It is shameful what the Sox organization has become....From the owners, management, minor league system etc. Hoping they lose at least 123 so there will be no doubt as to being the absolute worst ever.
It'll be 5 years before they sniff .500. That said, I can't wait for Spring training next year!

Lol and the Sox want taxpayers to fund a team with a new stadium that has played sub par baseball for the last 19 years . Please threaten to leave or relocate, us taxpayers/baseball fans welcome your exit.

More like AA team. At least a solid AAA team could win 45-50 games.

Insanity! Ever wonder who is the highest paid employee of the State of Illinois? The most important public servant, of course. The football coach. Over 4 million! That's why Illinois is such a paradise in which to reside.

Not a Sox fan at all (still remember being scared you knowwhatless by the sirens going off in 1959) but here’s wishing they go on a 7 game win streak and leaving the shame with that chitty national league team from N Y.

If they run the table, they could end the season with 126 losses but, I'll go with 124.
Either way, it's a record that will stand for 100 years (unless they break it next year).

Sox sales of team merchandise is collectively holding their breath
The team has a substantial amount of merch for NEXT year, featuring 125
The 125 commemorates the years the Sox have existed in baseball
There is trepidation if that is also the number of this years losses
