There is more than one person responsible for this embarrassing display. First the vendor who made the decal. Don’t they check their products before they leave their facility? Who accepted the decal for the City? Why would they accept it? Who gave it to the worker who applied it? Who was the foreman who approved the worker’s job? And who the hell let this vehicle appear where it could be photographed? This looks like Homan Square, didn’t anyone at Forensics catch this? I believe what is needed is some good old fashion “readin, ritin, and rithmetic” classes for these “spelin” cacographers!

Well you cannot give homework assignments you might offend a certain ethnic group.
CPD business as usual, exams rigged from the very early stages of test planning. Would be extremely suspicious to fix it by including a psyche exam as it was done for the K9 exam. 1-5 top canine scorers related to canine handlers. It will be no different for ET exam, different format same results. Don't include too many ET related questions on the ET exam, what a genius way to beat those not privy to the exam. Good luck and keep studying hard for the next exam.

This reminds me of the "new" detective stars. In the late 80's they needed the Patrolman's stars for recruits. Yes, detectives carried their original patrolman's stars. A bit confusing on an extradition when you had to show your star to the courts in another jurisdiction.
The order was sent to a minority vender. The numbers were not level, looked like alphabet soup noodles. Then after a few weeks some of the numbers fell off the stars. Those were replaced by new stars with different numbers. Many of us were issued new star numbers with the replacement stars. Still confused, I retired under the original detective's star number even though I used the replacement star number that was assigned to me by Personnel for the remainder of my career. Quality still prevails I see.
I remember when Fleet at North and Throop lettered all the city vehicles and now it sent out to a connected contractor. Who was fleet connected employee who acceped this
