This is one way to avoid chases:
- New video was released on Wednesday showing a police officer firing shots at a vehicle in Old Town during an October incident.
The shooting occurred around 6:50 p.m. on Oct. 13 in the 300 block of West Division Street, according to Chicago police.
Officers had attempted a traffic stop after receiving a report of a person with a gun. During the stop, the occupants of the vehicle ignored police commands and fled, striking a police vehicle, police said.
The Officer just fires a shot at a fleeing vehicle. Maybe some one-on-one training with the Department's Use of Force "expert" is called for?
Crap like this is going to continue to fuel massive lawsuits and payouts in the future.

So after she fired her weapon multiple times, did she go on the radio and say “pointing incident”?
Isn’t the officer in question related to Snelling or has deep ties with him? Don’t expect much accountability to be given to the officer she fits two demographics possibly even three. A little time hiding at OEMC and everything will be alright.
Where did she learn to shout two contradictory directions in the same sentence, "Don't move! Get out"? De-escalation training? Trying to confuse the offenders into submission?

If there's one piece of training that needs to be improved 1000%, it's shooting ability. Everyone shooting a gun owns every bullet that leaves the barrel and what it does. When anyone, including a cop, does a mag dump and then comes up for air to see if they hit their target, they endanger everyone.

Hahaha where do you work? Pressure for “activity”? From who, I’ve been here for 10 plus years. On my 3rd commander in 018, if anything there’s less pressure now then ever before. Under the last commander the constant need for blue cards was overwhelming. The difference now is that we have less officers so everyone works more hours( by choice you know the OT people), doing less than before but more. Yes, there was an inspector in 018 last week but guess what, they show up from time to time. You hear the “time checks” in 001 as well. The Morale in 018 is back to where it was prior to 2020.

In 2013 I got disqualified for being fired from a job when I was 20 for a minor reason my dad retired from the job and I have 3 cousins on with the same last name maybe it was my Edison park zip code but it was a blessing because Mt Prospect hired me a year later and I’m happier than Snelling in a pile of new female recruits.
Nothing will happen to her. Time will pass, investigations will be covered up, the smoke will clear, and she’ll be promoted.
