That is only the beginning ,United already told the city "If you don't put our person in as the new aviation commissioner we are gone" Word is BJ is planing to bring back another POS Preckwinkle lackey to run the airport. The city is 6 years behind on construction at O'Hare, the airlines are feed up with the cost over runs. NOT one project has even gotten off paper.,Rhee who has been in charged for over 8 years has done nothing but spend airline money on designs of the new terminals. The airlines already threatened to pull out, but city hall begged them to continue. With promises of leadership change the airlines agreed. United brought to the table someone with Avation experience, But city hall insiders ( Preckwinkle ) wants her boy in there. And with the new DEI hire at procurement services all contracts are being put back out to bid because she feels they are not black enough . Now the airlines ( United ) feel like the city is not listing to the wishes and plans on moving operations to North East Denver, if the city moves ahead with naming a new Aviation Commissioner that was not the airlines choosing . With all the city employees being moved off propriety to the old US Cellular building miles away , there will be nobody watching over the PMO ( Project management office) at O'Hare, so the airlines feel more of their money will be wasted on design and constructin will never start. It is going to be a fun couple of months.
