Wait....You're Confessing?
This narrative is....amazing? Disturbing? One of those, "You'll never believe this shit" moments:
You can click for a larger version, but even then, you're going to have to zoom in.
This Candidate:
- shows up for the CPD polygraph that is now required for hiring,
- signs off on the Consent Form,
- answers "Yes" to a question regarding ever having "committed, planned, covered up or participated" in a crime
- and then pretty much confesses to an "armed robbery" back in 2017
There's obviously a page #2 to this narrative, but we don't have it.
Conehead is probably desperate enough to hire him.

NYPD is cutting the college hours needed from 60 to 24.
If you go to the theblueline.com you'll see a lot of departments have no college requirement anymore.
Perhaps that's where you get halfwits spelling: "tac-tickle"
Not only will he be hired, in a few years he will work his way up the ranks and be one Superintendent
If this guy only gave Ed Burke an envelope full of cash, he would be a boss already...
Be the change!
Sounds like a great candidate for Detroit's Chief of Police.
U stupid motherfucker hahaha. I remember when I took CPD exam back in 86, I and few others were being fingers printed and some female behind me asked the p.o. doing print why Chicago don't give lie detection? P.O. responded "if we did we wouldn't get anyone.
Best and Brightest courtesy of CPS!
You can’t shine shit. Legit people need not apply.
Cheetos or Fun-Yuns, Mountain Dew, and a comfy chair and these kids today will tell you their life's story.
So either this guy is EXTREMELY Honest or he is EXTREMELY Stupid.
Now I know why I see so many short busses in the Chicago area.
Dude, at best the box is a 50/50 truth finder. If you failed, you'd only have to say you got nervous about blowing the interview. KGB found the best way to beat a polygraph is to have a good nights sleep and a big tasty breakfast. Otherwise, it's only a persuasion tool. But, as always; Thank god they're stupid!
Hey, Give him a break. It happened 8 years ago.
He is probably Catholic priest material by now - huh . .
Be The Change.
Armed Robbery to ambitions of being of the police in ~8 yrs, what a trajectory. At least he was honest -shrug-
Classic Ppo material.
Well what do you expect? Who’s recruiting them? Who’s in charge of Recruitment and Retention? They’re being dragged right out of crackhouses and park benches.
I hope CPD shitcans him from the hiring process and then he sues the shit out of the city for not following statute of limitations guidelines.
Now THAT would be hysterical.
more qualified than fenner
How many have not been honest and are now on the job?
Total insanity. The quality of the people seeking the police job is at an all new low. The politicians caused this and are destroying the city of Chicago.
What’s the sense in doing these processes when they aren’t pushing any through my neighbors kid who’s father is on the job has been stuck on the Office of the Public Safety steps since right before Cmas , because of coneheads freeze
Look at the trash they are hiring, Antonio is at the very least, honest. Chicago is done, get out while you can.
Don’t care. Hire him. Pension needs new people contributing. Start 3rd pension tier. He pays 25% of salary but can’t get it out for any reason until mandatory retirement at 65.
Libs will give him points for being honest.”he was just turning his life around”.
I’ll be his FTO if I’m paid at commanders level.
What a S O F T B A L L.
"Be The Change"
conehead wants him on his security detail
All that’s left in Chicago are crooks, thieves, mentals, gang bangers, and well fare leaches apparently.
So, how did that robbery turn out?
Half the city employees are ex-cons. Sounds like a typical CPD recruit and future supervisor material to me. Hell, it is practically required that all IL government officials attend club fed at some point in their careers.
Book' Em Danno
You didn't catch him so maybe he has some insight as to how criminals get away
don't demonize this yoot,,,, he was just funnin
he's playing chess when all you dummies are playing checkers - you all think he told on himself but little do you know the crime is outside the STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS - suckers. He's not so dumb afterall. /sarc/
Look at the old timers in the 80's and 90's. Knocking down Polish drunk drivers on Milwaukee av in 014, and 025. taking all their cash.
Had a crew on midnights in 025 years back.
You got he "... likes little boys..."from that?!?!?
Wow! Some RBT Detective in Area One is going to be pissed off. He/She will have to re-open the case they suspended eight years ago and write a new supplementary report closing the case with an identified offender but no prosecution due to the statute of limitations. That's going to cut into shopping time.
What is the statute of limitations on something like this? Asking for a friend.
Why are people calling this an armed robbery. The “victim “ was part of the plot and was not put in fear. This probably a complicated petty theft.
" Start 3rd pension tier. He pays 25% of salary but can’t get it out for any reason until mandatory retirement at 65."
Just like Cone head's latest loan, parking meter sale, Skyway sale...
Play today and the next dumb ass and his children, grand kids...
ARE STUCK WITH THE BILL FOR NOTHING IN RETURN.
What would Al Sharpton have to say about this lad?
🙋🏻♂️🙋♂️🙋🏿♂️🙋🏽♂️🙋🏼♂️
Yeah because Finnagan and his crew were altar boys. STFU
1000%
Did anyone end up arresting this guy?
So, what type of case report would that be on? Did the author find the original case and write a supplementary report? Or did the author write a new case report and if so, what UCR code? Can't do a new robbery report because original happened 7-8 years ago. It's not "Non-Criminal".
By the time that case report makes it to the case management office, unless it's been already flagged, no one will read it along with thousands of other cases that are binned by CMO.
Also, there's the question of the statute of limitations.
One of the fire entrance exams I took ,as I walked out, the collection table had 700 test booklets under it.I asked and was told they were all tossed when told they had to get fingerprinted.
Honesty is the best policy
He gonna beat the case. Its a clear case of self-entrapment.
College degree doesn't mean shit, especially these days. All the supervisors and exempts have college degrees.... I rest my case.
Remember, earned not given. 🥴
Find the Detective that was assigned the robbery and compare notes
And I bet CPD still hires him
Don’t demonize be the change
What aldercreature or precinct captain sponsored this upstanding citizen?
Alderman that was accused os misconduct was given a promotion by 💩 Head
He can still be Vice Mayor!
Just following in the footsteps of Walter “armed robber” Burnettt!
Are you really this dense? "Tack tickle" is purposely spelled this way to poke fun at tactical uh-perators.
We can't afford to not hire this man. Everyone makes minor mistakes in life. Robbery, homicide, agg batt to PO or CSA's are all crimes of passion. So this fine gentleman should be forgiven and welcomed aboard. ikid ikid nokillme
If Obama had a son, it would be this fool.
How fast do you run the 40 kid. I can gulp it down in about 60 seconds.
What did he do with the money???
One of my FTO's told me that "This job is going to make you a liar"..."You going to lie about some things" and "youre going to get good at it" He was right...! The culture of this department makes you lie about things. Parking lot damage, finding contraband in a vehicle, arrest debreifings etc....
Hess a robber, not a pedophile.
Lol
Maybe he is still in the running for hiring for PPO if they are grading on a curve……
What did you expect? Look who’s in charge of Recruitment and Retention. They dragged him straight out of a drug house or park bench. He’s going start to the IAD.
Cause when it was reported initially, it was probably put out and on paper as an Armed Robbery, specially if his friend said he had a gun. Since the gun was only “implied” per this morons admission, he just admitted to an Agg. Robbery. The store was still out money and the incident still happened.
As Ralph Kramden used to say He's a blabber mouth
OT: off duty CPD officer arrested in 009 on 28FEB at 1430hrs outside of wings n rings restaurant at 35th & Halsted for pulling his gun out on someone who bumped into him. Can’t wait to read that narrative…
well,,,, thanks to my "honesty" a lot of people got to call a friend to pick them up after stopping them for driving drunk,,,,, we called it the original community relations,,,,,
Ole boy will be merit Sgt within 5 yrs. That’s your police Conehead wants to hear. This fuck belongs in cook county jail, with prickwrinkes kid, awaiting a trial. Not a Crimesha special. More popcorn and root beer please.
That's Merit material right there. He'll be a Commander before you know it.
He'll get hired, and be an exempt in 5 years.
Your a fucking moron , if you actually think college degrees make you a good cop then your the real problem , all our big golf stars have fancy degrees how is that going for us ? enough said
There will be a big SOS or Baltimore tac type scandal soon
Having college requirements is the real problem a art degree doesn’t make you a good cop
Stranger things have happened. I hope this mope sues and wins, is then properly compensated for lost wages and seniority. Then day 1 on the job applies for PTSD disability, is awarded the golden parachute disability. Then just continues robbing gas stations in this god forsaken hell hole.

I met an old timer just like that, he tells me has multiple vacation properties, tons of cash and this job for some reason also pay a bi weekly salary. As if the bi-weekly was just icing on the cake. Not even joking. This was around 2015. I did not know what that meant back then and thought the guy was just extremely frugal..
Let's not be insensitive.
Ain't DEI special
Superintendent in four years
Joshua Wallace Jr is that you explaining how you tried to get daddy out of bankruptcy?
This wasn't a crime because the victim planned and was in on it!!!! ITS CALLED A JUSSIE SMOLLETT !!!!!!!
probably should have been swabbed before he left the building.
The City worked under most of the old school politicians. How’s that working out with your boy Brandon?? Btw, Ed Burke didn’t need an envelope full of cash. He’d help you out for gratis if he thought it was the right thing to do.
If I recall correctly Chicago didn’t even have a 2 year requirement until the 1990s, so what’s the big deal? You seriously think kids getting an education at Chicago city colleges or any major university is that much better? I’d rather have someone with real life working experience applying for the job.
2017, friend working at store co-conspired so no actual robbery- sounds like a theft, no gun, used a cell phone, statute of limitations expired. I wouldn’t be surprised at all of this department decided to hire him.
I agree that’s what it would be charged as, but considering it’s nearly 8 years, even felony statutes of limitations is expired. Still, should we really be hiring this guy?
Give the kid some credit for being honest, I got in early 2000, and let me tell you the caliber of po's back then some good and a whole lot of bad. Most coppers still on the job in the present were real bad but were protected by the powers to be, especially today's bosses. Nobody will talk about it, but they say that we were the real police. And I was no angel either. Today unfortunately mostly we are paying for the broken dishes of the past. Oh, but us old timers and especially the bosses will tell you it's the new generation of kids coming into this job. Anyway, be safe, watch you're six and don't trust anybody especially some of these morons that we call bosses.
I got a biiiiiiiiiig mouth
Best and Brightest. Be The Blame.
Wrong. It was a retiree. gun was not displayed or used. Incident on surveillance cameras. Stop spreading bullshit rumors.
Its not lies.. its editing the truth and creative writing gezz... ie. I saw the prep coming from a known area for high narcotics sales ... a/o approached for a f/i and observed the prep drop listed objects to the ground ... a/o recovered, and so on.... check out the q for 10 and read some of the arrest reports from their short bus tac teams ... Holy moly Batman talk about unbelievable... i mean at least try to sound believable guys.. i know its only .1 grams but geezzz
Statute of limitations? I got rejected from the process in 2012 for being fired for a non criminal reason from a menial job when I was 19 which was 10 years prior and being arrested for drinking underage at the local park when I was 16 which was 13yrs prior. Do I have a case? Not complaining worked out great for me I’m sitting pretty on a suburban dept with 11yrs on.
Still a crime but store is the victim of some type of theft and the original victim is now an offender but it’s not going anywhere anyway
Dollar General is the only actual victim !
Are you really this dense? "Tack tickle" is purposely spelled this way to poke fun at tactical uh-perators.

WELL DUMMY, at least some college or school should've helped you with your spelling and punctuation. It seems as though YOU'RE the moron.
Judging by these replies, I'm not sure you even have H.S. diplomas.
The cashier was in on it. How is it a robbery?
Thanks for letting the deadly drunk drivers go because you're too lazy or stupid to write a DUI.
It's not even an aggravated robbery. There's no implication when the cashier is in on it.
The report doesn't say whether they carried out the plan. Your "victim" is actually a possible offender. The real victim is the store if money was stolen. from them. So yes, it could be a crime.
Your problem is you’re a white male..
I was assigned to an oral board back in the dark ages. The best answer given by an applicant to the question of why you want to be a cop was, “I’m 30 years old, l have been working all my life, I’m a body and fender man and my elbow will probably wear out; I’m married with a wife and two kids to support. I looked at your pay and benefits and they are better than I’m getting now. I’m a good worker and always come to work to work, and I’ll do the best job I can for you.” He had a GED and was veteran. Turned out he was telling the truth, he was a good cop. Compare that with the “I want to give back to the community” crap that some college instructor told them to say.
The guy with the cell phone was wearing a MAGA hat
Be glad you didn’t get stuck on Chicago job. I think the statute of limitations comments are mostly being sarcastic. I got grilled in my interview bc I never smoked pot and they didn’t believe me. It took years for me to get hired despite high test score bc a “lottery” was deemed more fair. I was never more miserable than the last 10 years on the job and especially last 5. So happy to be gone. Nothing on that department is about ability or intelligence- it’s about connections. The game hasn’t changed, just the players.
You are better off not working for a chicken shit outfit like CPD.
Look at the trash they are promoting
Stat wise, maybe it counts!? lol take the "free win"
The teachers only pay 2% of their salary into their pension. Why should this guy pay 25%?
A Chicago Public Schools Diploma hold little or NO Value...
Well, he’s got more experience in Robberies than some of the RBT Detectives that I’ve come across. Let’s get him on the payroll. LOL
When honesty is combined with criminality and stupidity, no credit should be given.
Statute of limitations applies to being charged with a crime, not suffering the consequences of committing it. There's no statute of limitations for being fired. Are you sure you're the police? You don't seem to understand fundamental criminal justice terms. Employers can consider your criminal history and employment history when deciding whether to hire you, regardless of any statute of limitations.
