The unlabeled one is Detectives. According to a few emails, not a single "meri-clout-orious" page was faxed out. That doesn't mean one hasn't come out since or won't be coming out later, but our e-mailers were not in possession of "merit" lists.
Here's where the newly promoted Lieutenants went:

So Layne gets a merit promotion to Lt for no reason at all. Then his friend, Hein has him sent to 024 who doesn’t even need a Lt. Everyone else in that class is sent to busy districts and far from home.
I have a question for you Jon Hein. How do you expect any new Lt or supervisor to buy into doing things the right way and for the troops when all you do is take care of your friends?

2. Go through the 2 week training (basically vacation).
3. Decline the assignment 3 minutes before the final swear in.
4. Rinse repeat.

There is a lot of demotions there then...As a former FTO the bump in pay is recognizable. The time due accrues as well. Working with the new woke generation is the hard part. They seems to know nothing about police work, arent willing to do any of it, but think they know everything about it. Prayers for the officers that accepted the posistion. I am reminded of the time that almost an entire class of FTO's resigned after being told they were returning to their district of assignment and the city renigged on that promise. Also, FTO's have done historically very well on the subsequent Detectives, and Sgt's exams...just saying...

You have POs assigned to The HIST, the ATC, the Family Liaison Team, the front office, etc. so he was not a detective.
If you have clout, don’t use it on FTO

A big problem is that many of the new Lt's were CAPS officers, promoted to Sgt and went back to CAPS, now Lt's and never worked the street.

The list of non busy districts is short. Removal of people from places like 001 and 018 have turned those districts into busy with the same call volume.
Fto= 8k raise plus comp time bonus. It isn’t that bad, as long as you have the balls to actually fail a PPO on a cycle. Also a way off midnights depending on the district and possibly even onto days.
Why are there 300 recruits, 75 pre service sergeants and now 50 pre service detectives and 40 pre service ftos at the OLD academy with no parking when the new academy sits literally empty? How much money did that new academy cost? Massive parking lot goes unused whereas people are blocking cars 4 deep at the old academy.

The make up test was in January of 2025. 3 years later and a complaint to the AG. 3 SGT’s took it. Fairly certain it wasn’t the same test dumbass.
