This Just Looks Funny
But it's what "police work" has been reduced to:
One of the stranger videos to go viral in Chicago this week featured one of the slowest police pursuits of all time. The footage showed the driver of a hoopty minivan creeping along a four-lane street, weaving in and out of construction cones and driving the wrong way — all at about 2 mph — while a swarm of Chicago police patrol cars zigged and zagged in an attempt to contain him.
After seeing the footage, we had to find out what that was all about.
And CWB did find out what it was all about. There's video linked here.
And the truly sad part is there will probably be a bunch of suspension time handed out for paint scratches, uniform violations and something to so with Use of Force just to screw with the cops.
But they got it done, so good job everyone.

cue the benny hill music...
Don’t block the car in.
That’s what’s going to lead to suspension time. It’s clearly written in the order.
So, they weren't filming a remake of the Keystone Cops movies?
Barbie Army ineffective as usual.
Gypsies Gone Wild. Cue the jackety sax.
These new Chicago police are embarrassing.
There was a crash. A crash requires termination of the pursuit. Some just won’t learn. They simply refuse to follow the directive regarding pursuits. The speed is not relevant in this situation. It’s dangerous and they should have simply allowed him to drive away. If I was their WOL I would seek the heaviest penalty possible, make it known to the troops, NO FUCKIN PURSUITS.
It looked like fun.
This might be difficult to watch....

More than one officer had handcuffs dangling from vest or pants. One day an offender will grab those loose cuffs from them and use it as a weapon against them.
That's a good one. And very true.
If you were a competent supervisor you would know that the traffic review board determines the penalties for violations when a pursuit results in a crash. Supervisors, including the WOL, are prohibited from initiating discipline prior to a determination by the traffic review board. Ignorant softballs like you shouldn’t be the police, much less supervisors.
The long hair just a flying on that female. Someone should remind her of thr hair standards. Also of Veronica Murillo. Any cracked out POS get that ponytail - you are Fcked.
Amen. You can blame supervisors for not enforcing standards but you can also blame the POs for not being responsible enough to look out for themselves.
That was funny.
