This is at least the second time this particular store has been targeted. In 2023, a stolen vehicle was driven through the front doors. In 2021, the store in Oak Brook was looted by over a dozen non-demonized yutes racking up over $150K in merchandise..

Stores like this should be putting fakes/replicas out on the shelves and in displays.. the real stuff then should be kept in the back in a safe. If a customer wants to purchase a particular bag, then they go to the back and ring them up for the real one. Once the birds know only the fake stuff is on the shelves then they will stop with the smash and grabs or these quick takeover thefts..

I think that these stores should add some sort of explosive device to these handbags. Instead of a sensor letting you know someone left the store with your merchandise there would be a small explosive device added to these handbags bags that would perhaps blow a hand off so that person won’t steal anymore.
