Apparently snelling and Talley have been locking horns lately and it’s not going so well. Allegedly the 1st deputies office is a mess and is pretty much unorganized chaos on a daily basis. Snelling finally got pissed and they got into it. Unfortunatly, there is nothing he can do about it.
Wouldn’t have happened if he was allowed to smoke a fattie. Just sayin’.

Not only is the training division starting first watch at 7 in the morning, now they are starting second watch at 7 at night. Remember this when you're in a wellness class and they state how much they care for you.

Sounds like boss-hole material. Make sure to give him a sweet spot assignment on 2nd watch in an easy district.
This job always seems to magnify your bad qualities. If you drink a little too much, you will start drinking more. If you are a hot head, you will likely lose your cool more often. If you are lazy, you become lazier. If you lack integrity, you will likely tend to be more corrupt. If you are cheap, well...we all know people like that.
Graduating the academy should cause one to reflect on what type of policeman one is to become.

Worked on a few watches where there were more guys drunk than sober at roll call. That was over 30 years ago. Times have changed. I always told the new guys who liked to drink to do it alone in the basement. Also if you have a psycho girlfriend get rid of her and never fart in church. You might make it off probation.

Who knows? If he just sticks to having a few here and there, it might work out better for him than purchasing a lifted Jeep with Punisher stickers and getting tattoo sleeves. Add in the ball-hugging jeans with a touch of incompetence and the drunk may make a better Officer.
I worked with officers who were sober at roll call and tipsy by checkoff...Most of them are dead from a lifetime of hitting the sauce.
Whatever happened to that rookie that didn’t want to be in the union because of J-Cat. Looked like he was on the woke path to gold star status.

I remember him, but I dont remember his name... He wrote that on the chalkboard the first time he taught our class. He was a real nice guy. Always had time to strike up a conversation between classes.
I can’t remember his name but he drove a ‘vette with a plate that described his favorite cocktail. Not what you’d call a worker.
