I attended the second Lalapolooza, they only had one rap act, ICE T. The rest was rock and roll. It was pretty mellow.

Remember back in 2011 when then Mayor Daley's nephew attorney Mark Vanecko negotiated a waiver in municipal amusement taxes for the Lallopalooza promoter C3 L.L.C.? It was a mere million dollars in taxes which was not collected despite a $700,000,000 city budget deficit that year. Would you believe Vanecko represented Lallopoolooza Festival Services after the event was cited for serving liquor to minors raking in money for illegal liquor sales. And C3 Presents L.L.C. was in partnership with William Morris Endeavor which was owned by Ari Emanuel, the brother of democrat Rahm Emanuel (D-ILL) who was a congressman and major Daley fundraiser. Oy vey. Trust me.
What slick lawyer loophole did these scamming conmen utilize. Why form a partnership or coalition with the Chicago Park District non-profit Parkway Foundation. Non profit used by Ari Emanuel for his very own for personal profit. Just another historical example of democrats taxing the shit out of you, but using their controlling democrat aligned partners to exempt themselves from crushing taxation. Use the villain democrat partners and legal laws to enhance democrat partners bottom lines giving them a special privilege tantamount to insider political corruption through legal loopholes. Oops their nefarious acts were exposed.
A mayor, a congressman, democrat led tax exempt status scheme, campaign contributions, nepotism for a fat cat brother of a congressman enhancing his bottom line personal fortunes, promotion of tax amnesty exclusively for connected business interests all converge in a willful, calculated deprivation of funding for schools and the children . No Inspector General (IG) ethics inquiry. No Attorney General (AG) tax evasion investigation. Nothing to see here but democrat party in your face political corruption.

How ridiculous is it that whoever 6300 is thinks it’s fine for some random adults to be distributing “Free THC” to anyone during Lollapalooza. There’s several groups of people wearing shirts and advertising free marijuana all along Michigan avenue. Passing out liquor is illegal but drugs are fine? Some kids are probably gonna overconsume and overdose, tell their lawyer parents that yeah they got it for free and the police/city allowed it!
I saw Ice T and Body count in Milwaukee at Metal-Fest around the early 2000's. The audience tore down the lighting booms surrounding the stage ater too many people climbed up on them. A pretty rambunctious crowd as I recall....

I'm fine with that..I don't wanna hear about a president's kid smoking weed, getting frat boys beat up at parties by the secret service or who they aren't allowed to play basketball with. The only president's kids that really annoyed me were grown adults with families and responsibilities i.e. Hunter, Eric and Don Jr. The rest were kids, except Ivanka. She's much better than her brothers. The Clintons, Bushes, Obamas, and now Barron...all kids that should be left alone.
