What is this crap?
Please tell us this is something that Motor Maintenance slaps on the side of a car when they're road testing it after duct taping the frame together?
Why would you advertise this?
UPDATE: Training Academy - okay, that makes sense. Back in the day, we had those blue or red plastic guns, went through a "weapon check" and followed procedures. Thanks for the clarification.

Or perhaps the logical explanation that this is at the academy as the safety vest, uniform, classroom label, and onlookers suggest.
The car is used in the academy for training. The sign is there to ensure no one brings in a weapon in the vehicle.

That vehicle is used at the new training academy, inside the weapons free scenario training area. If you’ve been inside the new academy you’d recognize it. The last thing we need is someone having an unintended discharge while role playing or doing mock traffic stops. Whoever sent that in is trying to start shit.

You must be retired. It’s a one of the training vehicles in the academy in the weapons free area. They could have used an old junker but for some reason they have a brand new vehicle in there, even though it is a hybrid piece of crap.
Because it is in a training environment and it should be advertised for safety purposes. Pretty self explanatory

That’s one of the cars in the PSTC inside the building in the scenario area which is a weapons free zone. Safety issue-no guns allowed. Car is never outside.
Relax. The car is only used at the new academy for training. They label everything as weapons free to reiterate the safety precautions so no one brings a live weapon into the scenario area
This is one of the vehicles used in the WFA at the academy. Anyone who has ever taken in service training, use of force training, or recruit training has seen this on all the vehicles in secure areas.
It's a weapons free vehicle because this picture is at the academy and it's letting everyone know there are no weapons in the car for safety purposes.
That’s for community training days, so “the community” can sit in vehicle and it has no weapons for civilians to grab!

Be more concerned about the 6-7 year wonders teaching at the academy. No street experience whatsoever but they're telling people with 20+ on how to do the job.
All occupants are required to don masks and have all vaccines updated before entry.
The new academy is a big waist of money for sure. They just pass along the bosses BS! They should put up a sign at the entrance “ indoctrinate center”.

Whoa, Whoa, slow down there. I have unintended discharges while role playing all the time. I ask, what’s wrong with a discharge, unintended or intentional, while role playing. Hell, that’s why I role play.
