Gov. JB Pritzker signed a bill into law Tuesday to make Illinois the first state to issue vaccine recommendations independent of the CDC. Democrats believe Illinois should ensure healthcare regardless of decisions made by the federal government.
"While RFK Jr. and his QAnon-inspired colleagues spreading conspiracy theories and dangerous misinformation about vaccines are running around Washington, Illinois is stepping up to protect the health of our people," Pritzker said.
The Illinois Department of Public Health currently has an advisory committee responsible for reviewing vaccines, but this law will expand its authority and allow the agency to issue evidence-based recommendations on vaccines and treatments during disease outbreaks and public health emergencies.

Hopefully the majority of the public in Illinois have seen/learned the absurdity of the last shutdown and won’t go along with the attempted next one.
The "gold standard" in the world of scientific medical studies for testing any drug (like a vaccine) to see if it's safe means the study has to be "randomly-assigned, double-blind with a placebo control."
What does that mean? You will have two groups: the "subject" group gets the new experimental drug and the "control" group gets an innocent placebo ... usually a saline solution. People are randomly assigned into one of these two groups. It is double-blind because neither the study participants nor the medical staff administering the drug know whether they are giving the new drug or the placebo. And in the case of testing vaccines, the placebo would have to be a true, innocent placebo (like a saline solution) that CANNOT result in any reaction from the body's immune system.
So, how many of these "gold standard" safety tests have ever been done on any of the dozens of vaccines used in America? ZERO! There is no federal law or federal regulation that requires these vaccine safety studies to use a true, harmless placebo control.
The pharmaceutical companies all know that using the gold standard test on any vaccine (including the Covid-19 vaccines) would result in findings that the vaccine does more harm than good.
The pharma companies do "safety studies," but they use a DIFFERENT vaccine for the "placebo" drug (not an innocent saline solution), so their studies are junk science.
All vaccines cause some harm to some people. So, by using a vaccine (which harms some people) as the "placebo," these fake studies reason that as long as the new, proposed drug causes no more harm than the vaccine "placebo" drug, then the new drug must be safe!
Anthony Fauci was asked about this once and he replied, "we don't do placebo studies on vaccines." Your darn right they don't. Because every single vaccine in America, including all that are on the mandatory Childhood Vaccination Schedule (required for kids to go to public school) would be proven to cause more harm than good.
What's that saying, "My body, my choice"
