Ken Griffin's Chicago real estate selloff is nearly complete, as the billionaire’s final condo in the city has reportedly gone under contract, marking the end of a sweeping divestment that followed Citadel’s move to Miami.
Griffin’s spokesperson told Bloomberg Wednesday that the billionaire’s last Chicago property, a condo at 800 N. Michigan Avenue, has gone under contract.
The full-floor duplex penthouse that’s described as the "crown jewel" of Park Tower is listed on Zillow for $12.5 million, a roughly 20% decrease from its July asking price of $15.75 million.
It's almost like he knows Chicago and Illinois are circling the drain and will shortly start taxing everything in sight, trying to squeeze every last dollar out of the truly wealthy, before stepping down to the plain-ol-wealthy, and then finishing up with destroying the middle class.

There are two radio shows in Chicago on AM 560, Dan Proft in the morning and Shaun Thompson in the afternoon. Both are from the Chicago area. They both left and moved to Florida and broadcast to Chicago from there. The bulk of their shows center around what's going in Chicago politically. John Kass used to live in the Chicago area and now lives in Indiana and writes his columns about Chicago from there. All of them know more about the scandals of Chicago, Cook County & Illinois government than the local news media here.
