Tarrence, 40, died on Jan. 4 after she struck an ISP squad car in East St. Louis and then drove toward a trooper who shot her, authorities said. A spokesperson for Illinois State Police said Monday the investigation into Tarrence’s death is still ongoing.

Media doesn’t care about ISP. ISP does just as much dumb shit as CPD (not saying this shooting is dumb), the media just doesn’t report on it. If a CPD copper did this, it would be headline news, protests, massive lawsuits, coppers stripped. ISP? No one even knows it happened. Probably won’t even be a lawsuit. They’ll investigate, interview, and everyone will just go about this lives. And that’s the way it should be. Not every police action needs to be a news story. Glad troop is all good. Offender?
