Radios Compromise TASERs?

This is suddenly an issue? (click for larger image):

These are the ten-shot TASERs?

We didn't get trained in those. But we would note that as more and more electronics are carried by Officers or in close proximity to Officers (body cams, radios, in-car cams, in-car microphones, phones that link to the PDTs, not to mention personal cell phones), the possibility of electronic conflicts would likely skyrocket.

One also has to wonder if the previous studies (and conspiracy theories) regarding electromagnetic effects on health need a re-visiting.

Tasers are one of the biggest frauds to be perpetrated on cpd. More failures than successes. Something Terry Hillard doesn't want to talk about. But hey as long as his total merit ass is making money selling a dangerous product to us, its all good.

The department should stay with the tasers that they were using and this wouldn’t be an issue. But as usual, the bosses are amateurs. These new tasers are considered a gun so when you have incident, it’s gonna be a shooting. The shit-show continues because no one running things knows what they are doing!

I need some career advice. I am a new officer and want to be "the real police". I just got off my probation three months ago and I have excellent activity. Even the WC and my sergeant complimented me. Is it true that the tactical team is a stepping stone to other units?

This new taser is going to be a litigation disaster. The dept already gets sued enough through actions of the old one.

Never liked tasers. Prefer hands on when needed. Don't have to worry about offenders "falling from an elevated position" which describes anyone standing up.

Some may like it. Let it be their call.

Late in 2018-2024 I began wearing my radio in the front pocket of my vest. Can you guess where the cancer was yep same spot and I remember a particular supervisor complaining about how high power the new radios were hmm

How about that 1/2 Gauss ever-present earth's magnetic field, that can penetrate hands (cover up a compass AND IT STILL WORKS!!) Take a few turns of wire (1 m diam.) and stick those into a DMM and rotate that loop - see your DMM show voltage? That's also present in your tissues when you move about on earth ... how do they read heartbeats? Oh yeah ... through electrodes put on one's chest.
Next.

One more bit of safe clothing info from Greg Hunter’s USAwatchdog site:

“ There is an 8-minute video to explain how easy it is to ride out any terror attack or extreme storm. You can get more information on Sat phones and backup battery power at Sat123.com. You can get all the information on Starlink at Starlink.com. You can get all the new Faraday bags and clothing at DarkBags.com. You can also call 855-980-5830 and talk to a real human. Same goes for EscapeZone.com where you can get Faraday bags big and small, and the newest Faraday clothing. You can also talk to a real human at EscapeZone.com by calling 702-825-0005.”

Here’s the other clothing link: https://escapezone.com/product-category/emf-protection/

USAWatchdog.com for more info. It’s a great site. There’s probably a discount for the products starting from his site. We can all save money, especially in hellinois.

Yes and No. You have to get traffic stop of the month, officer of the month, outside unit award, and many arrests on CTA. After a 3 years of that and going to parties socializing with bosses from that unit, you have a good chance of getting into that unit. TAC helps but ultimately you need a phone call from people vouching for you. Doing police work gives you the connections that will make the phone call for you.

The effects of EMF on humans was a plotline in the series Breaking Bad. It was summarily dismissed by the affected industries as creative fantasy. But is it? We are totally surrounded by and constantly bombarded by electric fields. WiFi, cell phone, power lines. There is so much out there that the public doesn't know and is being hidden from them for economic reasons.

Perhaps we shouldn't offhandedly dismiss the concerns.

He asked me what I did for a living. Told him I was a police officer. He stated, "that explains it". I He told me many of his patients are former police officers and tradesmen. He went on to say that those two professions have one thing in common> They carry extra weight around their waist: police officers carry their utility belts and tradesmen carry their tool belts around their waist. You do this for 25/30 years it wears on your back.

Taser is a cope that allows small women and physically weak men the ability to navigate law enforcement.

Can we talk about the fact that Taser on average has about a 40% success rate?
And that the general orders restrict the usage of tasers in such a way that the vast majority of deployments violate department policy?

But as long as Terry Hilliard makes his money all is well.

The TASER 10 is considered a firearm under federal law (Gun Control Act of 1968) because it uses a small explosive propellant to launch its probes. Unlike older models that use compressed gas, this specific design causes it to be classified as a firearm and an "any other weapon" (AOW) under the National Firearms Act.
