A lot of videos we see out of Texas, the marksmanship of the police is outstanding. The video links from the recent Austin nightclub terrorist shooting are another example:
In a welcome display of transparency, Austin police have released bodycam footage, surveillance clips, and frantic 911 calls from the March 1, 2026, spree shooting outside Buford’s Backyard Bar in downtown Austin, Texas. The videos capture the moments when the heroic cops shot shot and killed Islamist terrorist Ndiaga Diagne, a radical jihadi.
The chaos erupted around 1 a.m. as this 53-year-old Senegalese naturalized citizen, clad in a “Property of Allah” sweatshirt with an Iranian flag t-shirt underneath, unleashed hell with a rifle and pistol on a crowd of innocent people. He slaughtered three — 19-year-old Texas Tech student Ryder Harrington, 21-year-old Savitha Shan, and 30-year-old Jorge Pederson — and wounded 19 others in a shooting spree apparently driven rage at Iran getting its ass kicked by US and Israeli military prowess.
Desperate 911 callers screamed, “There are people dead over here—we need help right now!” as Diagne stalked the parking lot for like a deranged predator. Police responded to the calls in less than a minute. (Note: The video has been made private… click through the X post below to see video) . .

Travis County DA José Garza, one of America’s Team Soros big city prosecutors, reportedly planned to refer the officers involved to a grand jury for daring to take out the trash. After a fierce backlash from everyone up to and including Texas Governor Greg Abbott, the cop-hating Garza backed down. From FoxNews:
A progressive Texas district attorney said he will not seek charges against the Austin police officers who fatally shot a gunman who killed three people and injured 13 others in a suspected terror attack amid speculation they could potentially face a grand jury.
Travis County District Attorney José Garza released a statement after Gov. Greg Abbott said he would eventually have the final say on whether the officers should be charged or convicted in court.
“These officers are heroes, and it should go without saying that my office is not seeking any charges and would not seek charges,” Garza said. “The accounts to the contrary are false, intentionally false, and are being peddled for obvious political purposes.”
There are thousands of Middle Eastern folks in the southwest suburbs - most came from extremely impoverished countries. Even though they came from dirt poor counties, they now own most of Harlem Avenue from 75th to 115th. As dirt poor migrants, where did they get all that money to buy up miles of commercial property and pour in tens of millions in investing? State of Illinois? Federal government?
Texans take their marksmanship seriously. Ironic. Austin is as liberal as the day is long, too.

I said the same thing to a middle eastern friend…,are there enough middle eastern people to support these hundreds of businesses…most middle eastern businesses are not crossover businesses where other demographics go to… some, but I rarely see anyone but Middle Easterners frequenting them….also, they cannot serve alcohol at the restaurants…you make more profit off of alcohol than you do the main courses…but, I guess better than JJ Fishes, Nail salons and payday loans…

You bring up an interesting point about the Middle Eastern population coming to Illinois and starting up all those businesses. Bridgeview is not alone, Orland Park's Middle Eastern population is growing also. There is a huge Mosque on 104th Ave. The third world will over run us in the near future.
Lots and lots of Medicare scams and apparently daycare scams. Many are medical professionals and own businesses to run scams through. When there is no punishment or fear of punishment the grift will only continue. While the suckers keep paying taxes with every transaction. We all on the outside looking in and getting fleeced.

I have a friend who's a middle eastern Christian. He hates the Muslims because they give them all a bad name.

Many of these businesses do not have the foot traffic to sustain them. Between the property taxes and acquisition costs and lack of revenue, it seems odd so many of them remain in business. Most American businesses would have closed.
Target practice, are you kidding me? During my 28 years and being assigned to TF then S.O.G. (I know back in the dark ages) we qualified twice in 7+ years then with a shotgun several times. Maybe a total of 5-6 times in the 28 years with the revolvers. The city did not want to spend the money on ammo. Once they approved the use of semi-automatics, we had to supply our own ammo. If you want to be better, you have to go off duty on your own dime. If you valued your life and that of your partners, you went on your own.
Never think you are important to the city. They don't care because you are a necessary evil. Proof, 150 sworn for Conehead and downed cars on every shift. Your safety is at risk every shift, but they don't care. They should, but they don't.
Having taken a class from noted Texas trainer Wayne Dobbs, I can personally attest to their focus on marksmanship, using B8 targets and not silhouettes. Good shooting officers.

In the 70 s and 80s, they were given huge tax breaks to start a business. They brought in more relatives, lived 30 people to a house, and polled money to buy businesses for everyone in the family.
In Middle Eastern countries, they look at Tradesmen like we look at convicts. Being a merchant is highly regarded, ring a hard worker is not.
